April 1st interview waitlistees

theres actually 4 that i know of now, a guy that christina knows from the 27th interview is off it, and my friend nicky from the 27th- she is already through but the girl who interviewed with her, she was on the wait list, and is now off it as of today.

 

ah cool so they are dropping like flies! and its not even two weeks since most people found out so thats pretty quick.

 

yes, its still quite nerve wracking tho, cos i imagine most on the wait list will be thinking!

'Oh am i gonna loose out on a spot!?'

Gonna start praying and thinking positive more!

 

I'm sure you'll get it you really want it and they'll know that.

Wait list has kind of made me actually give up hope, currently making TOTALLY different plans haha, but that's just as I believe people who had to wait for the waitlist like a week after the first lot of us were told have a better chance, as they considered you lot for longer; so yeah Jim no time at all you'll have a date I reckon.

Hi everyone. I have been waitlisted too
I attended the 27th interview and met a few people from there who told me about this forum. It has taken me ages to catch up. I am trying to stay positive myself but I am little confused because I don't know how they accept and pick people for the job. I have had years of f&b experience and i am outgoing but didn't get picked.
I did find out something strange that I heard from a friend of mine (accepted) who spoke to Michele last week. There was a girl accepted from the 1st April who apparently is a "LADY". That is her title. Do you think they might have accepted her because of her title? If they have, its bloody unfair! ???

I know being waitlisted doesnt mean a "no". I just hate waiting everyday for that phone to ring

MickeyRep...............I know which "LADY" your talkin bout in the interview and I know she did not give her title until she had to give her details (driving licence etc...) for the fill in forms.........and they didnt know until after she got accepted. And I dont think America really cares bout titles.............I am really sorry you got waitlisted, I really do feel for you. it is unfair especially if ur great for the position!! Im sorry i am being forefront about this but that girl probably deserved the position as much as you do and i dont think its coz of her title!!

No news from me, still on the waitlist though ever hopeful for a positive result, I really would like to live over there for the year.
