Apartment Pictures

Yeah, the couch wasn't the prettiest thing, but it wasn't bad. Comfy to lounge on...I spent a lot of time on it my first week. My first roommate (who left after 6 weeks) thought all I did was sleep and watch sports on the couch because I'd always pass out there after our classes!

Jajaja same thing happende to me . I also spent a lot of time in my couch and my roomates Marco from Italy & Christian from Germany tougth i didnt work because they used to see me all the time ther. Obviously i was working, but when they arrived home i was already there. It was fun

Yep, all the junk on the wall is mine. We DID have lights up all year in our room. We had a ton in the living room too, but they told us they were coming in to paint the apartment one day so we had to take them down!! Lots of apartments have them up.

Oh I am so excited just looking at those photos, i can imagine myself there already. The apartments look a lot bigger than i thought.

Also its really sunny today (first sunny day in manchester for a long while) and it makes me feel all summery, i feel its getting very close now!!! ;D

 

I was just thinking that they looked bigger than I thought too! I was expecting it to be really cramped, any idea as to the sizes or other units (i.e. more than 2 rooms)

 

I had a REALLY big apartment. Probably the biggest two bedroom. Lots are much smaller. My friend was in a 2 bd with no balcony, but it was probably half the size!!!! They are still quite liveable though!

Shan...I think we wound up having almost mirror-image experiences!!!! Did I ever tell you what aparmtent I was in?? I was in 821!!!! Same layout as yours, just across the hall! OMG...so weird!!!

Yeah, you did tell me that. It is a little creepy how similar our stories are!!! I think ours were some of the biggest apartments in the whole complex...yeah for space...but I missed a balcony...but I loved being close to the bus...and the pool because I always forgot something!

I know...for Christmas me and my friend Liz are going to decorate a palm tree and make a ham. Christmas dinner at my place anyone?

 

yes it's all about decorating the palm tree! i think christmaswill be when i get the most home sick...ive never spent christmas away fromt he fam before ??? lol....so the more the merrier with robyn and i.....the bigger the better!! the less lonely at christmas time!
