Anyone under 21 going?

Might have to be a plan, especially now we can't go to PI either. I'm guessing from the dates you're doing the summer programme? What dept. are you working in???

 

I'm gonna be working in Operations, yeah the summer program, how about you, what are u working in? totally stick together lol

 

Also summer programme, but I have to wait until the 24th to go Damn university! Working in merchandise. But yeah, we'll make our own alcohol-free fun together. And I mean that in a TOTALLY INNOCENT sense before someone misinterprets it

 

I totally agree! Awww ah well sure i'll seek out the best ways to live as an under 21 before you get there haha!

 

sure theres plenty of fun things to do if your under 21, and drinking isn't impossible, just gotta be careful

It's a great day for a birthday - except for the fact it's so near Christmas so often gifts get lumped together as a Birthday-and-Christmas thing.

ace, what did you do for it?

 

My friends took me out to a local pub with a great concert and I finally learned how to play pool! I was so happy to finally be 19 because I'm the youngest of my friends so I've been missing out on all the pub fun!

 

is 19 the drinking age in canada?!

i suck at pool. i used to work at a kids club and the 8 yr old kids used to beat me. i wasnt even letting them win!

I had a great bday too, I had a dinner party with 8 of my friends and then we went to a pub then out dancing and then they stayed overnight, fun fun fun

I had baby martinis in Chicago before (cocktails without alcohol) and they were nice, maybe we can have them

 

19 is the drinking age through most of Canada, except where I live where it's 18

 

18 is ireland so i've had over a year to get used to it hehe

 

in the UK its 18, but its not hard to drink if you want to! most people start drinking early-teens without a problem.

EDIT: not that i can speak for england, just going on people i know!

 

Yeah, underage drinking is a problem in ireland too

 

I think it's the same for all of the countries. There are always ways around the rules. Since we can drink with 18 or 19 it's strange to move somewhere where you have to be 21. But in the end it's all the same, you will find your ways...
