Anyone recieved their Disney Packs?

Do we have to pay to have a spot in the commons? Is that not guaranteed?

 

Well, the email I got said I needed to pay my Program Assesment Fee ($85) beforehand (online credit card) in order to secure my apartment and to bring my confirmation sheet with me when I check in.

From what I remember at the interviews they said that the Program Assessment Fee was used to pay for things such as community BBQ's and other such events.

Whatever, I knew I would have to pay it and now that's just one less thing I'll have to pay when I actually get to Disney AND I have a document that confirms my position in the commons, so I'm happy with the whole setup.

 

On the acknowledgement form I got, it says we can either take the $85 with us to pay when we get there or we can pay over the internet before we go on http://www.disneyurl.com/InternationalPAFs

 

Oh, okay. I think I remember something about that at the interviews now... That makes a bit more sense, I suppose. Thanks!

i now have had my email and disney pack - yey ;D ;D how exciting!

 

i havent had an email........ what does it say???? I got my pack in at the end of december tho!! ;D

to all the canadians if someone recievces there package can they post about it. That way maybe it would give us an idea if our packages are on the way also.

There you go... granted it's only 7 but almost all of my pictures from my year are up there! I have a couple days left to put up so hopefully I'll stop procrastionating and get them up soon (I'll post a note in here when they're done).

Oh, you'll definately hear from me whenever I get a pack! I'd say, within an hour - after I've succesfully read through it ten times and danced some sort of embarassing joyous jig!

 

Just recieved my email welcoming me to the Disney team!

I take it the information booklets in the email is the pack Yummy sent a few weeks ago? Or is there another lovely surprise coming for me? lol!

I got the email friday aswell, made me feel wanted! Quite like being part of the team now! I guess yuou get sent the email once they have ur confirmation form (faxed one) and the assessment fee together?

 

I haven't paid my assessment fee yet and I got my email.

A girl on my course who's also going hasn't faxed her form or paid her fee and she got one too.

 

well ive faxed my form and paid my assesment fee ages ago and still no email........ i did get the offical offer letter in with my visa stuff tho,but i still want the email!!!!! is there anything important in it or is it just to welcome us as staff members??

 

Oh, there's nothing new in it at all Just a 'welcome to the team' sort of message. You're not missing anything but a picture of a walt and some random country flags ;D
