Anyone recieved their Disney Packs?

Has anyone from Canada recieved there package yet? I know in the email said it would be in coming in the next month. but gezzz i'm impatient, i want some really life comfirmation that i'm really going to Disney World.

 

I guess we'll find out when Ashley gets her pack, but last year you didn't get your pack until about a month before you left so I wouldn't hold your breath until around then.

I'm just wondering about Ashley's e-mail a bit since Cast-A-Way sends out the packs and not Disney (at least to Canada) but I guess this is a wait and see moment.

 

Oooh very strange. It wasn't just me that got the email, was it?

I'm feeling a bit like a test subject right now ;D

 

I haven't got it yet and I get there only a week after you (and I don't remember getting that one last year). I guess we'll see next week for me lol.

 

Don't worry AshelyDawn...I got the same email as you did and it pretty much said the same things. It also said that i should recieve a package about everything in about a month. But...I recieve the email Dec 18 so its been over a month. I was planning on calling Eric on Monday to ask him a few questions, so i'll check with him to see when we should expect the package of information. Hope that helps you out a bit.

 

It does help! I also noticed at the very bottom of the email it said I was added to the Disney system as of January 22, which is when I think my record check should of got to Cast A Way. I'm guessing this is just Disney welcoming me into its ranks now that it knows I'm not a crazed axe-weilding serial killer ;D

Thats really odd that you haven't recieve an email yet. I think you and I are leaving the same day and i recieved mine in december. I'll let you know what Eric says when i talk to him on Monday (about the info pack).

 

Ah that could be why I don't have my e-mail... I'm probably allready in the DIsney system (I assume I'll have the same employee number when I return).

Criminal Check form
Acknowledgement form to fax to Disney
Cast Member policy form
Housing Agreement form

I wonder if I should be concerned. It seems like people from Canada are getting emails but I haven't gotten one yet. Have the people who got the email part of the year long program or the summer? becaues I am just summer and it seems like those who got it were year longs.

 

I'm in the year-long program - and here, I'll post the bottom half of the email.






A bit further than that in fine print it had a little peice saying I was just added to the system and if I got the email by accident here's the link to unsiscribe and bla bla blaaa.
I'm assuming you get the email (if you're Canadian) once you're criminal record check is faxed through and cleared..? Just because that's how it seemed to work with me.

 

I am a Canadian and I got an email as well about a month or two ago from Disney. I think the emails are just for the longer programs, but I'm not sure. I also haven't sent in my criminal record check yet and I still got yet.... then again, I can't get a criminal check until I turn 18, which I have yet to do so it may have just gone through anyway..

Seeing as most Canadians haven't recieved their information packages yet, I wouldn't be too worried about not getting it. (I haven't gotten mine yet! I'm leaving in July.) And they did tell us in the interviews that we wouldn't be getting them until about a month or two before we go. Besides, I'm sure even if your package is late, nothing will stop you all from getting to Disney World and becoming a Cast Member! I think we've all just got jitterbugs from excitement.

Yeah, they definately did tell me to expect mine the month before I go. You lucky brits with your packages much earlier than ours!! I don't like waiting till the last month cause I'm worried something will go wrong with my visa and there won't be enough time to fix it. I'd be so happy if I actually had it in my hand.

I got the same email as AshleyDawn but I got it well before I ever faxed in my criminal check. (Castaway also sent me an email to remind me I still had to do that, whoops). I leave in 5 weeks and I got another email today letting me know that my adventure was less than two months away and I should be recieving my pack soon and would I please pay $85 to hold my spot in the commons. lol.
