Anyone recieved their Disney Packs?

when i did the H2b program (not the one for theme park managment) i faxed my form over twice, then the day before i went i had an e mail to say it hadnt been recieved! so not only did i have panicked packing i was panicking thinking "Do they even know im coming?!" ohh that was a fun day!!

 

I received word from michele again. She says she needs to talk to me on the phone about some things before sending me a pack. It seems everytime she's ever tried to call me is when I don't have my phone on me. 3 or 4 times now I've had a missed call I didn't recognise!

Once that is done they'll send me my pack tomorrow.

At least that's getting sorted now anyway!

 

ah yeh thats right linsey, she needs to do your acknowledgement form over the fone before she posts it out to you. I think thats because theres some important information on that, so its just to make sure u really have read it before u sign ur name to it and post it off!

So has anyone on the Summer college program (from the UK - Departures 5th and 24th of June) actually received their packs from Yummy yet? Cos it seems most who have received them are on a different programs?
Just want to check before i contact Yummy!

 

I'm from Ireland, going on the summer program (5th of June) and I havent received my disney pack either

 

im 24th june and i dont have my pack either. the impression i got was that we wont be getting it until the end of january anyway, so im not really thinking about it yet

 

i talked with michele today so i'm assuming my pack is winging it's way soon. good job we talked too cos they had my address a little bit wrong anyway!

thinking i may just go ahead and book my flight soon too. before the end of the month when they go up in price anyway.

i'm still slightly confused over how much we get reimbursed if/when we complete the program. do we get back the flight out too, because on the phone I got that impression? before i thought it was just the flight home disney paid for.

yeah im confused as well!! at first i thought we only got the flight home paid for but after reading through my pack it seems like we get the flight over there reimbursed as well..... theres a bit in the pack that says to keep your ticket for the flight out there safe as you can get your money back for it after the 12months....?! I have no idea really - but keep hold of all tickets,reciepts etc - just in case!!!!

 

as far as i know, the amount you pay for ur flight over, is the amount you will be reimbursed by Disney, which is why you have to keep tickets/ documents.

So you have paid ur flight over, and at the end disney willl give u the same amount for ur flight home.

 

Dont worry all you UK ICPers, when ever yummy told me a date the stuf would arrive by, it usually arrived a few weeks after that date. But it did all eventually arrive in time.

 

yay! my pack arrived this morning and I've been busy reading through it That was fast, I was only on the phone with michele what, yesterday? or the day before?

Now I just need to get my form faxed out and get the disclosure done. I was supposed to be disclosed at my work a few months ago but it fell by the wayside. but now at least I can pass onto them that I'm doing it now for real!

I havn't gotten any confirmation packages - but I did however receive an email from Disney!

Scared the crap outta me, not gunna lie, just because I thought it was going to be bad news or something. I wasn't expecting anything from Disney since I got my confirmation email from Eric of Cast-A-Way weeeeeeks ago. I pretty much imagined any negative situation that could happen in that split-second and had a mini-heart attack.

But it was good news Or at least, slightly redundant news. It was just a welcome/congratualtions email from Disney! Nice to know I have a semi-personal email from Disney sitting in my email right now
I'm pretty sure it's because I faxed my criminal record check a few weeks ago and Cast-A-Way just let Disney know I'm in officially, thus, Disney welcomed me with an email with a slightly-creepy picture of who I assume is Walt. I mean, I love the guy for the magic he started, but couldn't they come up with a better picture for the email? Haha anyway, I took a screenshot of the email and here it is ~






More good news too - it said near the bottom I'd be receiving my pack within a month. Good to know! ;D ;D ;D
