ANYONE PLANNING TO BOOK A VISA APPOINTMENT IN LONDON:

You should be fine in december. The embassy is really uber busy during the summer much more than it is any other time of year. Although there is normally a 3-4 week wait whatever the time of year.

Just wait until you receive your pack and then take it from there. There are always cancellations so you'll always get a spot at some point.

What are the chances of getting a cancellation? Bearing in mind how long it takes to process and send the visa, what is the latest date I can have my appointment? Oh...and Im flying Sept 9th

GO TO BELFAST! London is fully booked way into september - I just called and got an appointment for Belfast for Sept 4 and they said it would be fine.

Plus they send the visa back a lot quicker!

 

i thought belfast had closed down, is that not the case ? if so does it not matter that i put down i was going to go to london ?

 

Belfast is now open again and they have HUNDREDS of appointments available! My letter says London but they have changed it over to belfast for me

 

yeh, can't believe belfast!!!!! they even said on the web closed! euw!!!!!! God! hate it sooo much, look at the hell i've been put thru cus of it!

 

Does anyone have the contact details for the embassy? I've not got my application stuff through either and from reading these past two pages, i'm starting to panic!! Is there any update today on what's supposed to be going on? This is crazy! Hopefully we'll all get sorted and still be meeting up on September 11th!

Thank you so much for that. I've just rang them and got a cancellation for monday at 1:30, but my forms haven't come through from yummy jobs, so keep your fingers crossed for me so they come through tomorrow. I can't believe this stress! And only 37(ish!) days to go!! If anyone is going on monday? If so fancy meeting up?
