No worries. I have one more shot at this round by trying to write an amazing email to Michele begging her to reconsider. If that is still a no then I'll just have to wait until August.

blimey! im 22 in march and all ive done is bar and waiting on really...i ddnt do a cover letter...just filled in the bits on the website application form...hmmm....seems all a bit random to me...yeah im on facebook todd bennett my full name! got loads of pics from my summer on there and me as sum characters x

yeah just that i had done ICP as character and loved it and wanted to see what florida had to offer all year round!!

 

I wrote in the Motivation section, but not the Work Experience one. Should of wrote in that!

 

It almost seems random... And I don't mean any offence by that.

Or maybe something in my CV or letter screamed NO to them..

I just had another thought.... I never did A levels, I went from GCSE's into work. I wonder if that looks bad to them? Any thoughts?

lol none taken...i mean when i first applied for ICP they thort i was applying for CRP and asked me the CRP questions over the fone interview, then i had to later correct them over email and they foned me agen for an interview which wasnt really an interview just saying they were gunna take on my previous interview which i did really well in! maybe u have TOO MUCH experience haha...x

how long is your re-consider me please email, mine is even longer than my cover letter was, its about 600 words.

In the motivation section I just kinda pinpointed a couple of reasons why I wanted to do it- then I sent my cover letter separately as it never occurred to me to copy and paste it into the motivation section.

In my cover letter, I only mentioned my job and experience in one small paragraph. The rest was about why I wanted to do the program, what I thought I could bring to the role etc...

I'm going to ring tommorrow see if I can get some feedback. I really don't know what I could have done. I only have one idea. I only have one job that lasted more than a couple of months (exactly a year) I'm worried they think that I don't have the staying power. But those were jobs I got when I had holidays from school/uni. If that's why I might try and explain.

I'm just so gutted, I feel like they didn't even give me a chance.

The thing is I'm currently a waitress, I have an a-level in history, previous experience working with children, and I really really really want it. I don't get what I've said to put them off.

The hardest part is not knowing why, hopefully I'll find out tomorrow.

Edit: and just a warning, I'm currently drowning my sorrows in cherry lambrini if I get crazy you know why

 

I have no idea what 2 say, this is awful. yummy has the best and worst job in the world.

 

I bit defeated but determined at the same time. I've got a lot of other stuff going on at the moment but I'm not ready to give up. I'm now writing my (possibly too personal) reconsider me please email. Trying to detail why I want to do it and why I would be good for the role and why I didn't apply sooner.

I may as well just go for it, I have nothing to loose.

 

I feel bad that I'm putting a downer on what should be a happy day for people who did get through
