Anyone else applying in January from the UK?

I was there last summer - worked MK Custodial West, stayed at Vista.

 

still nothing! i can't take the waiting i really want to hear back from them

 

I'm so tired today. I've not been checking my emails quite as obsessively as I did before but still at least once an hour.

I managed to relax about it yesterday but I'm all on edge again today. What if I don't even get the phone interview? It's a bit crushing for your self esteem. I'm sure we all feel the same about that.

I'm just worried my CV and covering letter may have come across a bit TOO professional ... if that makes sense? I didn't want to be too personal as I was worried that might make me look like I wasn't taking it seriously... Oh well. There's nothing I can do about it now! Fingers crossed! (and toes, legs and eyes!)

 

I'm actually okay at the moment.

I don't think I will be when I see the email in my inbox though!!

My stomach did a little flip a moment ago when I logged into my email account and it said that had one new message.... turns out it was from ASOS confirming my order. haha lol.

And I ordered Disney Couture jewellery that had just come back into stock.... maybe it's a sign?!

Oh I love the Disney Couture range but I hate gold It just doesn't suit me at all and nothing seems to come in silver

Still, I will probably buy something if I get in - I'll have to wear something Disney to my going away party lol.

I know what you mean, I don't like wearing gold- but I got a set of 3 rings and only one of them is gold and engraved with 'a dream is a wish you heart makes'

I asked for them for christmas but they had sold out, but I did get a silver disney couture bracelet with 'believe' on it and a charm of tinkerbell hanging from it

 

Aww sounds lovely I might get the minnie mouse bow earrings at some point. Need to save my pennies though for now!!

 

I've seen them too and I like the earrings in the shape of mickey mouse.
I probably shouldn't have bought the rings as I need to save my money too, but oh well lol. ;D

applied like in november or what ever but they fucked my application up but emailed them about it and sed they'd be in touch! but it does say mid january they start looking at the applicants! so i dnt no wots goin on...my mate jay sed that a guy told him that they've fille dthe places for sept 2009!!!!!! ???

 

hahaha yeah...i wanted to character agen but ddnt wanna miss graduation so thort this wa sthe enxt best thing as i worked in UK before so got a feel for the place and ppl! hehe i only know of Jay doing it so far!x

 

On the website it says "The next interviews will be taking place in February 2009 for positions starting from September onwards." so they can't have filled the positions yet as they haven't done any interviews.

They have stopped accepting applications though. If you applied now you wouldn't be considered until the August interviews. I'm still a little unsure if I got my application in on time but we'll see...

 

I know that there's one or two people leaving in Sept, who applied last time, due to that was the earliest hey could leave. But the spots definitely aren't full.

 

I'm starting to lose my optimism! Meep!

I really wish they would have said we'll contact you on the * of Jan, not late January. I'm constantly checking my email. I really thought today would have been the day.
