I'd just like to add, that Disney training is so amazing you will be prepared for anything! You'll get taught things you'll never ever have to put into practice. That's why (most) CM's are so good at what they do! I was absolutely petrified of doing my first live spiel at the Jungle, but after my training it was like I'd been doing it forever!

And if you feel you don't know something you should know...ask!

I'm studying my Epcot maps already.

If your anything like Canada, you will start out on the easy jobs first like greeting, and working outside the restaurant. If you like us normally unless your in shortage like we are right now, you have to wait 3 months before you even get there. The worst part of the living and carrying of plates is done by the food runners. Which you only stay in for a week or two and then you start Serving. If your nervous about it when you get their make friends with the servers and food runners and get them to teach you some tricks. There are good tricks and that way you can practice and then build up the weight. It will take practice I am sure. I am nervous about it myself when I get to that point.

Bus tables too if you are allowed. That helped me learn what empty plates are like and glasses. I was surprised on how quickly I caught on.

So ya, don't let it worry you too much. When you get there you get fairly easy jobs and during that time learn as much as you can and watch the people that do the area you wish to move into. (In Canada you can go into service or into assigning. So we have another root if we just cant get the service thing right.) Sorry if this has already been said. LOL. I am just getting ready to hop in the shower and get ready for work so cant read all of this till I get home tonight. :)

    sounds good.

Where i used to work, the manager was so harsh on some of the staff because they weren't as experienced as others, that it was quite unfair and made the job for those people less enjoyable.
