Anyone arriving on June 20th?

There's a WestJet flight from Toronto to Orlando in the mornings, so I'm overnighting to Toronto from BC and then taking that.

 

Oh Tom, I was thinking about that too...I just dont want to go to Toronto.

 

I'll be arriving on June 23th so I'll meet u all up there

I still don't know what kinda work I have to do over there or what the address is going to be. Still waiting for my package te come

OMG!!! Jei I'm coming with you! Eric just phoned me and my start date is June 20th ... but it's a new 6 month program so I won't be working at the Canadian Pavillion. When I come back i'll still be on the waiting list for the full year though so I may only be home for a few months before I head back down.

I think there's still some Canadian waitlisters that haven't been accounted for and I'm just crossing my fingers they got this oppertunity as well!

 

I'm going for the "old" program I guess. What's the new program all about? I didn't know one existed!

I can't wait to go in June, and I think we are all going to have a great time! I hope anyone waitlisted gets in as well!

 

They called it a 6 month program, where you do QS F&B at one of the 4 parks. When you do the math though (depending on depature date) you're really only there for 4 1/2 or 5 months date wise.

What I think it could be is they had an alumni program for the summer/fall and perhaps no one applied for it..? I dunno, I could be totally wrong, I don't read the alumni discussion.

 

Yeah thats actually what my mom's thinking as well...

Those people were offered dates in May for a 6 month program, so that would make sense why we're only getting 5 months offers since the 6 month program was starting this coming monday.

 

Ack ... who cares what it is or where it came from ... I'm too excited to care!!!!!

wow its hard to believe its going to be so soon, but i am totally ready!!

 

Booooo!!!! My best friend got an offer for the "new program" as well starting on June 20th too.....and I'm pretty sure she's gonna turn it down!!! I have until mondayto try to convince her that she won't want to miss out!!! Someone help...I need some good persuasive material!!!

 

Whats holding her back from excepting?!?!

 

she had to take out a student loan for school and doesn't think she'll make enough money to pay it off....but technically she won't have to start paying for a year after she graduates....

 

aw thats tough ... but if she still has time to pay it off then i think she should for sure still go to disney, for the experience. She'll end up regreting it if she doesnt!! especially if her best friend is going!
