Poncho I don´t think the program was cancelled, because we are going have an interview this Saturday in Puebla about it. I still sent an e-mail to Roxana few days ago and she didn't say anything about this. But in case they do,,,then I hope they accept me for the one year program, hehehe. Shhh haha..

Barney Rubble went well..i thought we looked really good..Check out my photo on facebook! I think no1 could believe the fact that I had made the costume myself..I was quite proud of myself..

 

Didn't you do costuming last year though? I suppose that could've given you some good knitting experience

 

Yeah..but we had a sewing lady that did all that for us! Alls i had to do was stand there and talk in my english accent really! hahaha..

 

Vicky, how did your interview go yesterday?

 

Hey Mark!!! and everyone!!! I just got back yesterday from my interview. The whole experience was awesome!!! I even got to know the city of Puebla for the first time, it's beautiful, if you ever go to Mexico, you have to go there. I was very excited about everything. Two nice ladies from Disney made the interview; but first we had the Disney trivia,that was pretty easy, very basic questions, I won a prize for answering a quetion of a live action Movie, I had to say "Pirates of the Caribbean" , he, he. We had a very cool presentation, after seeing it we were all dying even more to go to Orlando. (WDW) In total there were 39 mexicans, including myself. I was the second person to be interwied, and it went really good. Actually when we finished I was like "That´s it???" I couln´t believe it was so short. I still remember what they asked me:
- Why do you want to work for Disney?
- Have you ever gone to WDW?
- What´s the park you like the most?
- What places have you traveled to?
- Have you ever lived alone?, how about with roomates?
- Have you ever handled a lot of money?
- What would you do if your roomate was very messy at the kitchen?
And beacuse I choose Hospitality as my #1 Job, they also asked me:
- What would you do if you are at an hotel and a client arrieves with his family and their room it´s still not ready and they are very mad about it?. Basically that was pretty much about it. They told us that we´ll know if we got accepted maximum in two weeks, because by May 1st we have to send a form to UCF. I´m really excited, I really hope I get in. I believe they will read with caution our resumes because I think that we gave them very little information about us in just a few questions. Anyways, I still can´t believe that in two weeks I´ll know the answer. They also told us about the courses that they are going to give in the October program, I liked them more. Maybe I can stay a little longer and take the October program also, hehehe, hope so.... Well people that was my experience. I can't imagine if I do go to WDW, I´m very forward to meeting you all. That's good that your interview went well. Hopefully you won't have to wait too long before you find out the results. They told me at my interview it would be 2-3 weeks and I heard before a week. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

John Young loves 2 rub it in tht he has been accepted n other ppl havnt lol. Im sure tht is me in the background of tht pic. Jungle Jims monday nyt cudnt beat it 50 cents a beer. Im sure we will deffo b mashin up Disney this year again! But without Lex n Jay, but add Dom n Ads
