I am still waiting for Yummy Jobs for what I should do to get the Visa process going. But I am sure it is going to be fine!

And, yeah! We should have a Holland pavillion at Epcot! Windmills, Flowers, more Clogs, Gouda Cheese samples, Haring on white bread with onions, Fries with lots of mayonaise, sjoelbak-game, and a biking-through-the-rain-in-Holland-experience ;-).

Seems like fun!

JA! Goed Idee!

Mijn aanvraag loopt via Yummy Jobs uit Engeland die mogen blijkbaar ook een aantal Hollanders inpikken . Ik had een brief naar Orlando gestuurd omdat op de website geen bureau voor Nederland aangegeven stond. Toen kreeg ik een email dat mijn aanvraag was doorgestuurd naar Yummy Jobs. Zij kwamen trouwens naar Nederland, moest jij naar Parijs???

Ik weet dat er in ieder geval nog 1 Nederlanders is Gijs (zijn nickname op themepark.nl is G Spotter) van 30 mei - 1 september als operations CM. Dus die mag al bijna! Hij weet vast of er nog meer mensen gaan. Ik zal hem het even vragen.

Heb er ook zin in, maar voor mij is het toch nog even ver weg...maar toch dichtbij...en verweg...laat maar...het is in augustus gewoon.

 

Hehe....I guess you guys don't have an own pavillon as the Americans (or at least some ) think Germany and the Netherlands is the same. One time while I was working there a couple came in asking me "hoe gaat het?" ;D I love Holland so I understood their question (but that's pretty much all I know :-[) , still I had to tell them they're in the German pavillon...they were pretty surprised ;D

Anyways, have fun out there ;D

 

Besides the fact that americans are going to tell u that they speak "pensilvanian (?!?) dutch"... ohhh... and than they gonna start talking in "dutch" and don't stop until they see that you are a little bit confused.. :

they think that we speak "dutch" in germany and don't even think about telling them that we speak "deutsch".. BIG MISTAKE....

So, prepare yourself and don't forget to take a class in "p-dutch" and amish culture

Hahhahha I know americans don't have a clue about the country's in Europe. It's pretty strange cause if u say Holland they are all like WHERE THE HACK IS THAT but if u say Amsterdam they all of the sudden know where that is

They all think we walk on wooden shoes and eat lotsa chees and haring and that we all live in windmills and stuff while the other hears Amsterdam and thinks about red light desticts, drugs and rock and roll

It's soooooo funny the stories they tell or when they try to speak Dutch, but also kinda Cute in a way.

We are going to fool them out there and laugh our asses off

Wow serieus kwamen hun gewoon naar nerderland? als ik dat had geweten, ik moest idd helemaal naar Parijs jah ook verder niks mis mee lekker weekendje Parijs.

Mijn programma is ook maar heel kort jammer genoeg, ik zou eerst ook langer gaan maar de datums werden telkes verandert maar jah beter iets dan niets. Ik ga volgend jaar wel weer maar dan mischien ook via Yummy jobs.

ik hoop dat alle Hollanders int zelfde appartementen complex zitten, maar ik denk dat we in de Vista way komen.

Een zekere Gijs dus ook nog hmmmmm leukkkk man zijn we tenminste niet alleen wel jammer dat jij pas in Augustus komt, maar gaat snel joh voor je ut weet ist Augustus.

Ahhh yes, I forgot about those! Shame on me!

I guess we need to bring truck-loads of the Stroopwafels! People tend to find them very yummy!

So if all the Dutchies would bring two or three packs, we may well become the most beloved country on Disney property! Haha!

David i just saw that you work at Duinrell - how cool is that? I've always wanted to go in the tikibad there!!

Duinrell, just for a few more months, I already handed in my resignation letter and got my resignation confirmation. So from August 1st - August 15th I will be unemployed (and to hyped up anyway to do any work properly ;D).

Duinrell is cool, tikibad is cool. And somehow that is the largest indoor tropical pool of Europe. Next year Duinrell will have a new coaster that goes up-side-down so should be good. But my favourite park in Holland (no offence to Rick the Frog, the Duinrell mascott) is Efteling.

Anyway, you should come some day to take a swim there. But don't come to just swim there is so much more to do in the area.

But of course Duinrell is so small compared to Disney World, at least you can buy stroopwafels there . Haha!

I travel to Holland a few times a year with my job (I work for a camping company - that's why i've been to Duinrell! )
