Any Canadians flying out JULY 17th ???

Yeah I hear the tickets are pretty cheap when compared to our prices, and really I'm sure we can buy nosebleeds for really cheap and move down.

I know for a fact the Northwest is going down next year so there's NO WAY I'm missing my oilers down there on the cheap! From what I understand Tampa is like a 45 min to an hour drive so even then (being from Red Deer) thats no difference for me to get to an NHL game. Might even be closer than the Oil/Flames

I am actually going April 24, to Canada Attractions, but I just wanted to say that I am totally with you to see hockey games. I have already been looking to see if the CANUCKS are playing......GO CANUCKS GO!. I of course would support any......make that most of the Canadian teams. Sorry I am just not a leafs fan! But count me in for the road trip. (its the same out here, 45 min into vancouver for the games)

 

lol I was wondering if anyone outside of Toronto (whos never lived there) was a leafs fan. So far I've yet to find one lol.

But yes the Canucks will be making their once every 3 years trip to Florida next season.

 

Haha okay so who else here can't stop daydreaming of July?! I'm sitting here at work bored out of my mind and The Lion King - Broadway popped up on my itunes shuffle list.... I'm giddy with excitement! lol. These next 4 months are going to be killer...

Aaron - As much as I despise the canucks ( you know how it is... flames fan 4 life! ), I'm down to catch any canadian west coast team while we're there!

Steph - That sounds like a great idea... I think it might calm the nerves having company for the flight down . We should get together soon cuz a planning buddy is always helpful! lol hey die hard oilers fan... I always cheer for the oponents of the Canucks/Flames (although I have to cheer 'nucks over flames just the way it is with the BoA!)

Should be some decent cheap games down there!

Steph cmon, the Canucks are on a streak right now! I do realize that the tickets are expensive and sell out quickly but your CANADIAN!, you have to love hockey. I take it you did not grow up with brothers that played hockey? Mine did and they often stuck me in net when we were younger so they could practice their shooting skills.

 

ok ok.... let me re-evalutate this...

Yea.. i grew up with boys(one brother) on a street with all boys...... I was made to be goalie(but nothing else) lol.... I like to play alittle street hockey... but i cant sit and watch a game on TV!!!! Everyone tells me that i shouldnt judge just by TV games... i should actually go and see one LIVE!!! But of course i still havnt made it to one!

 

Well we weill make it a road trip and go and see the canucks when we are in Florida, and then you will see how much fun live games can be!!!! Question: Why do boys insidt on putting there sisters in net and shooting pucks at them?

 

Because boys are jerks... and know that they wont get in too much trouble because we jump at the gun to be able to play with them!!! And we know if we tell on them... we wont be aloud to play again LOL... MEANY BOYS

 

Anyway...back on the topic at hand

We only have a handful of people coming July 17th and to F&B. I wonder if it's just going to be us and that's it. It's going to rock-I'm so excited!
