Any arrivals on April 24th?!

It is really going to be strange seeing everyone face to face. But after all the chatting we've been doing i'm sure we'll all be enjoying our selves very quickly. We should do a monthly thing, games, costume parties, theme dinners..stuff like that...i can't wait to meet everyone. Is everything all ready to go? Last minute things all done?

 

I think I am almost ready, still packing up my belongings that are staying behind tho. I was also trying to work in bringing my "Friends" Scene It trivia game. That will have to be one of our game nights. I call Martha as my partner! Looking forward to hanging out together, only 26 more days. (14 more days until my birthday) I am more excited to go to disney, but this countdown is smaller.

 

yeah those games nights sound really good!! i'm totally in!...twister and scene it would be nice options tho!...and it would be nice if we could play "disney" scene it too, would be very competitive hehe... i haven't done anything yet about packing and all that stuff so i guess i'm not very ready to go, however that it's the least important thing because i really cant wait to be thereee!!!!!

 

We'll probably be very shy when we're first together, but I'm pretty sure the shyness will go away veeeeeery easily!
I'm in for the monthly get together and the games too! I love the idea so we vary from games to themed dinners (mexican, canadian, hockey, pirates, tequila... you name it!)

Like Gaby, no travel itinerary yet! But they like sending Mexicans late at night so we might be the last to arrive...you can have your 24's banners around so we know who's there already, hehe

 

Is anyone else as excited as I am for the actual flight over? I love the adventure of being in an airport and going somewhere. I even like the stop-overs. Oh! I especially like in flight movies, and flight attendants . Of course, it's helpful for me because I have the best flight travel partner ever (woot woot Beth!) and I'm really pleased about having her so that going through security will be less of a hassle. I figure if two of us have the same job and the same papers they'll just let us fly right thru!

 

yeah im looking forward to the flight,altho 10 hours is going to drag a bit i think!!! Hopefully il get a window seat so i can sleep for most of it! I hope theres no problems getting through security/customs.....!

 

Bring the sceneit! Friends i love that! 10hour flight will be a pain but i'll have lots of films and free drink so should be ok. Customs is slightly scary Kerry! Just smile lots and act very Disney and you'll be fine. I'm more worried about carrying all my luggage and getting it all off the belt! I hate it when parents let their kids 'help' take the bags off. They just get in the way! x

 

It wouldn't be very Disney of you, but after a 10 yr flight I'd probably just mow over the little kids trying to "help"

oh god,what do they say to you at customs?! Im scared now!!!! better not drink to much on the flight,i dont think turning up pissed would be a great move!!!! I cant wait to go now!!! im sooo exited!!!!!

 

allan, i think the same as you, i love being in airports, seeing all the people passing through, running for getting their planes, some of them gettin' crazy mabye hehem, taking a look at the stores, why not?? hehe, etc, etc, i enjoy eeevery second of any of my trips. About that customs stuff i'm only a little bit worried about if i'd have any problem carrying some medicine, or medical teas or products, does anybody know if it's strictly necessary to take a medical prescription with me? even if they aren't under prescription? just in case!...

 

i didnt even think about that..........if we take any medication with us do we have to have a prescription with it???? it didnt even cross my mind!!!!!

 

My job made me travel a lot last year around the country, but I specially liked being at the airports, though it's nothing compared to thinking about to the Orlando airport to go to Disney (coolest airport in the States!!! loooots of shops and very friendly in general)!!! ;D ;D ;D

About prescriptions, it IS important that you have it for any specific medication you may need during your stay over there. A lot of the medicines are over the counter, unlike in other countries. As for as other medicines/vitamins or supplements you take with you, don't forget to have a label or the original container/box stating exactly what it is (even if it's just vitamin C), it'll save you a lot of hassle in case anyone asks about that mysterious bright pink pill in your case...hehe

 

Hey, got my Visa (finaly). I couldn't sleep the night before i went to berlin so I was up for more than 30 hours. Hey I dreamed some cool stuff (haha first i Wrote the "S-Word" but the forum changed that word into "Mickey" - Funny we shoul say Mickey instead of the s word over there that'd be funny "They didn't let me into that club last night, What a Mickey")! about us being at the commons. It was just like in "Friends" Hanging out at ones Appartment and plundering the fridge. I call for Chandler, he's funny (and married to hot Courtny Cox - in the show)

 

If thats the way it is then I call Rachel Becasue she is pretty, except I wanted her to end up with Joey not Ross.

hello buddies!...hey that dream was good, i also dreamed like 3 weeks ago about us in our first day in orlando, in commons too hehe bue for any reason we had to eat in a kind of cafeteria together (as in high school) instead of being at our apartments and the food really sucked btw hehe....

hey i was thinking that as part of the huge versatility of the 24's, we should also make a group of bar trippers! as a mission on finding the best place to party in orlando hehehe...(people over 21 could also taste and identify the best wine selection of the region, people under 21 just the place, its people and music hehe)...what do you guys think?...we're gonna do a benefit for our comunity!! hahaha...

Yes Allan, Joey really! He was funny in his own dumb way and bar far the hottest, Please Chandler gained a bunch of wait in the middle of the serries ( I beleive this was when he was in rehab) and Ross - don't get me started on him, I really didnt like him. Who was your favourite?

Does anyone know if it is ok to just bring a years supply of percriptions down wiht us? instead of having to fill them down in the states (most stuff is cheaper in canada then the states, so i've heard).

Hey C'mon Chandler really was the funniest of all I kind of share his way of humor. you gotta see the friends bloopers on youtube.com funny funny ! Well (in a non-homosexual way) I think Ross was the hottest of the guys and Rachel (together with monica) was the hottest girl. But all of the others were good for a laughter as well!
