Anxiously waiting...

8 weeks sounds so close! I still think we'll hear by the end of this week, i think it'll be Friday. Dunno why, just do

 

I feel so sorry for you guys, I so hope I don't have to wait for that long after our interviews. I got my f2f for the summer program on Monday, so maybe they are waiting until they interview us to see if there is anyone decent in our group. Definitely if the visas are limited they wouldn't like to say no to a brilliant person just because he was in a later interview group.

 

Hey... well I had my interview in October and I got the answer just 2 days after the meeting. So I don't know how it is waiting for the answer. But I feel sorry for you.

BUT - since that day I'm waiting for the date. I mean it is even worse being on waiting time list. Of cours I can say that I'll go to America, but WHEN???

The good news is that my mean nasty english literature teacher is off today so i can go home at half 1 so everyone should be happy about that!

2 weeks tomorrow since our emails...

 

Yey we are all happy Charlotte LOL. I'm off work today again cuz I'm not well I hate being off tho, the day goes in soooooo much slower.

Can't believe thats been nearly 2 weeks since we got that Email from Yummy! I so thought we would have know by now!

So i am guessing you passed the interview then..Because if you didn't get in they'd just tell you..they sent exactly the same email to my mate..but they told him he'd passed the interview and said they were jus awaiting news on the visas..

 

This is the email we got:

"I know you are extremely interested to find out about the results of the interview that you had completed with Disney. Currently Disney is waiting to hear from the US State Department on the allotment of H2B visas they will receive. Until this time, (which could be a few weeks), Disney cannot offer anyone a position. Sit tight and wait for news - we are waiting anxiously too for the news. But rest assure as soon as we hear we will be sure to let you know!!"

That was on 2nd march. Still waiting!

 

Yeah..i think basically it means you passed the interview..but they can't offer you a job yet until they know about the visa's..because they don't want to tell you that you've passed the interview and then a few weeks down the line be like..aw well there isn't enough visa's for you sort of thing..
It sounds like you've definetly passed the interview tho..

I feel worse waiting for my interview than i did last year waiting to find out to be honest! Coz i could mess up my interview..but once its done its done and then there's nothing i can do about it..Whats meant to be is meant to be..
I just hope its meant to be! Im listening to Wishes now..

 

LOL very very true Claire!! I just can't help it!! I've begun to just expect not to have any new emails now though, and it really annoys me when I refresh the page and have an email from...ticketmaster. Damn them! Getting me all excited for nothing!

Claire, how very dare you say we won't find out tomorrow! Keep the faith! I don't like the thought of ANOTHER weekend of not knowing. This is the only time in my life I've ever said anything bad about weekends!
