Awww, a week ago today. That's quite scary when you think about it. I totally agree with the comfiness of the seats in the cinema. I was so close to taking a nap, even though the presentation was wicked ;D.
I cooked a meal for one of my mates tonight. She was like 'When you're in America' this, and 'When you're in America that', and I was like Please don't say that, cause if I don't get it... I don't wanna think about it really. But thought of a back up plan incase..... i'm gonna become a chef! I quite like cooking. I make a delicious Lasagne, and chicken tonight, you know, easy stuff, lol. Might try a toad in the hole soon . Oh well. Hopefully not long to wait now,

Hiya everyone, I have been and done the interview. The presentation was great, I just wanted to be there. I won a badge in the trivia quiiz. I had Julie interviewing me and she didn't give much away, I do think that it went well but you never can tell I don't think. I would have liked to be interviewed by Dru as he seemed lovely and friendly. I did meet some lovely people, I hope I will get to work with some of them and some of you on these boards. There was nobody at the Scotland interview that I spoke to that knew about these boards.

Now I am waiting along with everyone else to hear something. I was told we hear within a week whether you are being considered or whether you have been eliminated straight away so that is something I suppose.

Dan - my friends keep saying things like 'when youre in Florida' and i have to keep telling them to stop it!!! I keep thinking about my interview and am in one of my 'theres no way I got it' moods at the moment. Theres so much Id wish Id said! Oh well, guess we'll know if we're being considered this week!

Donna - glad the interview went well! How many of you were there would you say? Julie was nice wasnt she - we had a greta little chat - quite enjoyed it actually but think I could have said more to convince her to give me a job! Dru was totally mad wasnt he! Matt was interviewed by him - think everyone else was interviewed by Julie!!!

yeah im definatly swaying towards the no answer! Pivotal things i could of said! can't see it happening now! gonna be a tough week next week!

 

From monday Im gonna be in a constant state of worry/stress about getting home from work and seeing if i have any post. Have managed to convince myself its a 'no' so really dont want to open that yellow card! I reckon Ill probably be holding it for ages before i actually open it willing the tick to be in the right box!!!

What happens then, Will we get a card and it will say yes, no, maybe, or if its a yes will we get a phone call?????

 

We'll get that yellow card which we had on the day which had the boxes they could tick saying we were either being considered or that they dont haa position for us!

I guess then if we're being considered we'll have to wait for a call from Yummy with a leaving date or a letter saying we're on the waiting list as a 'maybe' I guess!!!

HELLO, there was about 30 people at my interview. One person didn't turn up. They didn't tell us anything about how many positions they have, they just said that not everyone will get a job. I think we all were aware of that anyway.

Dru seemed a lovely, friendly man, he is truly disney mad. I think it would have been more fun having an interview with him. One girl before me had her interview with Julie and thought it went really bad, she said she was so nervous she couldn't answer the questions which was a shame.

Wait for the card now! One girl told me she knew someone who did get a phone call within the first week telling her she was in. Julie told us to get on with our lives and not sit by the phone.

Let you know if I hear anything.

Ok, from tomorrow, i'll be in a constant state of anxiousness (as if i wasn't already) :!
I had my first post interview 'Disney' dream last night. I dreamt I was at where I work now, but my Disney interview was there anyway. I realised I was wearing dirty clothes, and started panicking, but there were a few other people there wearing dirty clothes too, so I didn't feel as bad. Then somehow, my tie (which had Mickey on it) got thrown out of the window, and I had to run out and get it. Then I woke up. Strange huh ???. It's funny I had this dream after the interview. I'm waiting for the 'You haven't got in' dream, which is inevitable I suppose. I had lots of those dreams before the interview .

Aww dan bless u, i haven't had a post disney dream...yet!

I bet you're all proud of me for not bein online for what 3 days? well its only because i've been laid up with a bad back and couldn't move!! Although I did go out on my cousins hen party and somehow alcohol managed to numb the pain for a while, although now i am paying for it!

argh its almost monday and my panic has started, then again it started around 12noon 12th nov once i had done my interview.

My family yesterday were on the 'right wen u go 2 america when will it b cos we'll have to make sure we can spend a few days with u' and my aunty 'if u wana get away from orlando for a day or 2 call kirsty and she'll come fetch u and u can go 2 fort lauderdale for a couple of days.' im like its not certain everyone!! don't curse me! my cousins living in florida already planning my arrival makes it very scary and somehow seems to make me think its a bad omen!!

Like you Dan Im gonna be so anxious from tomorrow waiting to get a call/yellow card, I dread to think how useless Im gonna be at work this week!!! I think they better take me off cash - Ill be a complete liability to the bank!!!

Ill be so tempted to call home and see if my yellow card has arrived but I doubt Ill be able to get through the day knowing its sitting at home waiting for me!!

Ive not had any scary Disney dreams sice the interview but am sure theyll start tonight!!

Im going to see the INcredibles tonight which should be good!!!

i'm at home for most of 2moro only got uni from 10-12 altho im not goin 2 b of any use in the lectures ill have a preoccupied mind!! argh this stress!!

 

Ok ive hit panic status now! its just really hit me, I actually want to go to work at disney for a year, and if that card comes saying no, then i can't spend a year in florida!

So i am really just wanting to know now! No disney dreams as of yet! I really want to stop thinking about it!!

 

aww andy i know how u feel, its the uncertainty we all wana work in florida for a year cos we wouldn't have replied, its so strange how a yellow card through your letterbox can change your life, im at panic status 2, just wish we knew now!!

 

We might not know this week, we might not know the week after! 10th of december is to far away!
