When i was there in 2000-2001, some of my norwegian friends was 26/27. But maybe they changed the age limit after that ?? Julia? Did you live together with Marianne from Norway ? Cause she is a friend of mine, good friend
there are ladies that work in animal kingdom that are in their thirties with kids and husbands. they are from botswana and are on the program. when i went in to work i was younger than them by 8 to 10 years and im 23. so go on give it a bash and go big.
@ oldbird - i didnt even no about any of these parties etc till i fouind this website and thats not why i applid - i wanted to work for disney and thats why most of us have done it the parties are just a bonus ;D
A very good friend of mine once told me you are never too old, to achieve things to go for it huni hope it goes well ;D lets us know how it goes ;D
I've heard different, the age limit to apply for Norwegians is 27 I think. I've just turned 25, so I guess I'm one of the old guys then...hehe But as the others said, you hardly gonna tell who's 22 and who's 27...I'm the most childish 25 year old...hahaha ;D Good luck with your application
Good Luck! Once your there, it won't matter if your 18 or 28, everyone will get together and have a blast! About being childish...it's Disney World, let your inner child flourish!!! ;D
I remember at the London interviews in february there where a few people there who looked like they where in their late twentys so I don't really think age is that important, its more to do with your personality
That's the funny thing about being in the Commons. I was 23/24 for my year. My sister is 5 years younger than me. I wouldn't have really hung out with her and her friends all that much at home...but in Florida one of my best friends was 19. Age isn't really an issue. You will best friends with people from 18-30. Age is just a number. Shan
when i worked in the UK pavilion a fellow cast member was 30 - there were a few 26's aswell apply and show them that you're keen
Myriam you will not be old at all! lots of my friends were a bit older - i was 22 when i did the program but my boyfriend who worked in the Italian Pavilion was 26, my roommate was 25 and the japanese girl who lived with us was 29. Mixture of ages throughout - you'll love it!
Myriam, You're not a dinosaur at all!! I'm 26 and I'll be starting a few weeks before you!! I was a little worried for a bit, but I've gotten over it, especially knowing now that there are so many different ages that are going. Looking forard to meeting you in Septemeber...we can start a club for all of us oldies!! Charlene
Hi I'm 25, and me too wasn't sure if I should apply for disney, but in my mind I'm still 22, so I don't think it's gonna be a problem at all...hehe I've got a lot of friends that are a couple of years younger than me, and my best friend is 22. But the little place where I come from, most on my age is stucked with one or two children, house loan and no life experience at all, so I actual feel very lucky that I get this opportunity. I'm also very lucky to have such a wonderful boyfriend who says that I've got to do this or I'll regret rest of my life...
Heh, this question seems to pop up all the time. LOL but that's ok because I'm going to answer thiis one a little different this time. I never had work at Disney yet but I've been there several times and been to the Commons too. From the people I've meet and seen, there are various different age groups working at Disney in general. There isn't really any age policy. I mean I seen people up to maybe their mid 40s to 50s working in Disney World. As far as the Pavilions at Epcot goes, the highest I've heard working at one of the pavilion was 32. I met one person who was 31 year old working at the UK pavilion. I think Disney in general tends to like having different gerenation of people. I mean this what makes Disney so special because of the fact that people working there are from so many backgrounds and ages. I also believe that Mr. Walt Disney wanted to have Disney World & DisneyLand filled with cast members from different age groups. Last but not least, the international program is a great program for any ages. Even if your 30 year old, you could still have a blast and learn alot from the program and offer alot too. Now I can't speak for the other pavilion but I know that Canada doesn't have any age limit for applyiing and I know that because I have asked that question when I applied before. Main thing they ever look for is personately. I think one of the reason why we don't get very much older folks is because most people applying are 25 and under. People who are over 25 generally are people already at a career situation so they people might not have interest in applying for programs. But there are people like myself who are over 25 that apply Hope that helped Forgive my spelling and english since it's 6 am in the morning and I'm still a sleepy head. LOL Gary
i was 25 - 26 when i was out there so it wasn't any problem.although i did seem to get sent for alcohol more often that not. Thanks walgreens !
Well I'm turning 19 this upcoming September (the 22nd)... I'll probably be among the youngest... (as I'm the "baby" in the Guest Flow Team here in Disney LoL)
