A lot of people are getting through quickly at the moment!!! I guess they had spaces to fill at the interview so they were rushing applications through - i wish we'd had that sara!!!! Olly - you should def come into the pavillion in october, even if Yummy cant organise for you to meet anyone, Im sure us lot thatll be out there will try and introduce you to the pavillion managers so you can have a chat to them!!! Even if you just come and meet some of us staff we can let you know all about the work and the whole experience!!

Hey Olly, I am looking to start in beginning of 2006, was actually going to send my CV off tomorrow but after reading this thread I think I will wait til end of March, then yours and mine should be on top of the pile together! Its great to have somebody else to go through the process from the beginning with! We will have to keep each other posted!!!! Anyway hear from you soon I hope Jess x
Hey Jess It is great to hear from someone who will be applying around the same time as me, sorry it has took me a while to reply I have been too busy at work to check the forum!! I think they are looking for people to start in March 2006, is this when you are looking to start? From what people have said thoughit looks like it takes a long time before you have an answer as to whether you have been successul. I think working there for a year will be a great experience and is definately worth while. It will also be good to escape the English weather and enjoy the sunshine!! I will be sending my cv into yummy jobs in the next three weeks so I will let you know when there has been any developments. Hope to speak soon Olly
Hi Olly, I really don't want to put unhappy news on this thread, but I just want to warn you that the process could take even longer than it took Sara etc. I've been in the application process since last Feb (over a year now!!) and I've not even been given a telephone interview. I don't have enough customer service experience (currently trying to change that!). I am hoping to apply again for the next round of interviews, but was told to wait to the end of the summer to re-apply, so a long wait for me. I really don't want to make you any less excited, just wanted to warn you. Best of luck with you application and hopefully you wont have to go through what I have. Kerry
yeah experience is important but from what ive herd its not the be all and end all....a lad has been acepted who has never had a job! lucky guy eh??
I have just sent my cv today, I had read somewhere that they wouldnt accept any til april 1st but I know a couple of people on the boards have sent theres off and already heard they have a phone interview in June so I thought what the heck might as well get it off then at least I will look keen! Good luck Olly, I'm sure we will be posting plenty to each other over the next year!!!! Jess x
I sent my CV in back in November and had a phone interview about 3 days later *considering self lucky*
