Advice on the Phone Interviews!!!!

I hope so - my voice was awful lol, I'm not sure how much I was able to get across, but I do really want this, more than anything!!

 

i know exactly how u feel anna. ive wanted it for as long as i can remember, told my parents and grandparents one year when we were at the magic kindgom i was gona work there *i was only 7* and now 14 years later, im goin, it still seems so surreal, especially as i got the job dec 7th and we havent actually had written confirmation of the job, its crazy! lol

I was last in Florida in January and for once the situation was right for me to be able to apply and I just thought 'its now or never' and came back, found this place and it has gone from there. I am so glad I found this board though lol, I would never have known what to expect otherwise!!

 

hehe. yeah well we got a pack just after xmas i think sayin what 2 expect with the process like right next u fill out a background check form and pay for it, then u await the next lot of info. which we get anytime now, which has confirmation of start dates in etc. cant wait 2 get that, cos still seems like a dream at the minute

yeah this site is great, ive made some great friends off here already, so cant wait 2 get out there and get to know everyone, makes it seem less nerve racking knowin 4 or 5 people really well who ull spend most of the year with! i didnt find the site until after id got through to the face to face interviews

I bet it does, it all feels like a dream just getting the phone interview lol, I dread to think what I'll be like if I get any further!!!

It must do, much easier knowing at least one person even really, expecially as you know you must think somewhat alike already as everyone on here as Disney in common!!!

 

thats very very true! i try 2 get to know as many people as poss on here, i just like 2 get on with everyone cos we r all lookin for the same thing, with wantin 2 work/have worked for disney, although i think a few people probs get annoyed cos i do talk 2 anybody in any topic lol

yeah i think its good that a few of us have gotten quite close. at least we've got someone whn we go out! think it'd feel so lonley otherwise, esp the first day! when you have that free day!

Good luck Anna- i thought my phone interview wasnt so good i messed up one question - was convinced i wouldnt get thru - then i got a letter! my face 2 face went well i think phone interviews one of the hardest parts! I got told i got thru by letter not e mail - weird huh! Good luck - fingers crossed for u!

Sara and Linz - its so cool we all chat all the time - i have no real nerves yet - sure thatll change by june tho!

Hey all,

I got a letter today - and I've got an interview on Tuesday, I can't believe it lol I had totally convinced myself that I hadn't got it as I hadn't heard anything!!

Anna that is fantastic! Honestly dont worry about your face to face - i found it a lot easier than the phone interview. Its the same sort of questions.

Youre esp lucky as you timed that pretty well!!! Good luck for tuesday - youll be fine!

Like marie said the interview is pretty similar to the phone one and on whole its a really good day with an amazing presentation to make you want the job even more than you already do!!! If thats possible!!

I told u didn't i anna i had every confidence in you. I think its great with timing as chelle said, cos you don't have ages to wait. I got through to the face to face interviews last may, and had to wait til november! it was agonising lol

fingers crossed hun i know it'll b fine for u, the face to face is really good, the whole day is enjoyable, we certainly had a good day didn't we chelle?

yeah marie its cool, i know i kinda keep getting bursts of nerves not knowin what people will think of me etc. but hey only 118 days 2 go LOL

We did have a good day sara!!

Anna - it might help the nerves to stay up in a hotel the night before and try and meet up with some of the applicants! Thats what we did in november and it really did help!! Think theres a few people from these boards interviewing on tuesday so you should be fine!!

aw im so happy for you anna! knew youd get through! yeah id ssay that it would probably be better to stay and meet up the night before, which is what i did first time! it was good fun,and made me more relaxed.

but then the second time i didnt meet anyone before and that was when i met marie at the interview on the day, who turned out to be a great friend so i really wouldnt worry if you cant, everyone chats away at the interview anyways!

i made a better friend out of you who i met on the day than the ones id been talking to for months and had met before in london that time lol! so i guess it really doesnt matter at all. if youre gonna be mats wi someone it'll work out that way, drunken night out or not!lol

Thanks all of you - I did some celebrating at a Westlife concert last night lol!!!

I haven't a clue what to wear, what to do with my hair anything.

I know the timing has been good and I am very fortunate not to have to wait months, but I think I would have liked a little more time to prepare than what I have lol!!!

I don't know if I can stay up there the night before or not, its so much to get my head round - still I suppose its less time to be nervous!!!
