Ibiza turned out to be a false alarm though right? ETA called some tv-station to say there was a bomb at Ibiza airport, they found a package, blew it up, found out it wasn't a bomb.
That's what I heard anyway.

I probably won't be back on here till July 19th or so, so have a great time in Ibiza John!

 

Yeah, my mate other mates comin now! There was a que of my mates wantin to come so we got it sorted easily in the end! The rest of my mates are still considerin gettin a flight out and just kippin on our floor!

Yeah, think ibiza was just a false alarm! Not 100% sure tho, im pretty sure the airports open again now anyway!

Looks like I won't be joining you all in WDW August 19th after all.
Just got an email from UNCG, telling me they won't accept me, they're saying they don't have an agreement with my school or anything.
I've never been this angry in my life, I got a phonecall from Yummy Jobs telling me I had been accepted, I've got my welcome pack, send in my uni application forms, bought plane tickets... etc.
Seriously. Oh My God.
Angry.

 

Thts well bad is tht as if they accepted you n everything! Can't believe they hav made you go through all that! Bang out of order! Is ther nyother programme you can take! Feeling 4 ya ther! They should of told ya all bout tht way in advance! Sorry 2 hear you wont b going. Touch wood it doesnt happen 2 nyone else. Again sorry 2 hear your bad news x x

I'm just really confused right now since Jason from Yummy Jobs had spoken to someone from UNCG, then that person from UNCG said they would accept me after speaking to my school... Jason gave them the contact details they needed to contact the right people at my school... and now they tell me they never even tried to contact my school.
It's not even starting to sink in yet. :-\

 

heidi i cant believe that!!! thats sooo unfair!!!! especially after all the stuff u had to go thro to get accepted in the first place! i feel so bad for u!! xxx

I just got an email from Jason (YJ) who was really confused about all this because UNCG told him they were going to set up an agreement with my school. I'm even more confused right now. He's going to contact UNCG though, trying to find an explanation for me.

I've got some of my hope back... not a lot though.

I'm off to Mexico tomorrow, but I'm definately going to be checking my email as much as I can.

Just got an email from UNCG, they're probably going to make an exception for me, since they normally don't accept students who are doing an English Teaching course. Which is a bit odd because Yummy told me this was the only uni I could apply to because none of the others accepted English Teaching students.
Still a bit confused... *fingers crossed though*

Me n rob zal have got our appointments on july 31st, our other mate ads has got his appointment on the same day as well, but he doesn't ever come on here or anything..Can't believe a month 2moro we'll all be there!

 

Exactly a month 2 the day 2 go ;D. Gettin so near now its really startin 2 hit me tht il b bac at my old job. I was ther last year but it feels so much longer then tht since i was last ther. Ya know how lucky us guys av it. Wrkin in the sun for a year!! Guna b awesome! Hope u guys r as excited as me. ;D ;D ;D
