6th September 2011 start date!!

Haha yeah, it's definitely an incentive not to shop which for me is very handy as I have no willpower normally - if I like something I buy it, I can't stop myself. I'm allowing myself one purchase however, I really want the new version of Beauty and the Beast on DVD and since they're buy one get one free I want to get nightmare Before christmas too as I've never seen it (which is apparently a crime according to my friend!). Other than that though, it's save save save, and definitely dollars for Christmas and birthday. It's so long away though it seems crazy to get them now - I'll just spend it!! However I guess if i get it in dollars then i can't so that's a plan!!

Oh and I work in TV hence long hours, we've been making a series for BBC Learning which has a tiny budget and thus we only have 4 weeks to plan and film 6 episodes which is crazy!! Been on location 3 days this week which normaly means starting at 5 and ending whenever we're done which is anytime from 8 til 2 at night plus 12 hour days in the office and working weekends!! Pretty exhausting, quite glad I have some time off now and will be paid for it this week so can pay off some of my overdraft/credit card, yay!! It's definitely a good prep for Disney as you say, 10 hour shift will be nothing, haha!!

It's very exciting that it's now less than 10 months to go until we leave, 10 seems much less that 11 for some reason!! Now that I have more free time I'm going to start looking into flights/insurance etc and trying to get organised. When do you all have your phone call with Yummy? Mine was meant to be on Wed but had to change it to Fri, I really want to speak to them and get a real idea of everything that needs to happen! And surely we must get our disney pack soon too? It's 5 weeks since we got the interview results this Friday and 5 weeks since Nicks email about the pack next Friday so should be in the next couple of weeks. That wil be the most exciting thing, I can't wait!!!

Hehe, since I now have internet and no job I'll probably be on here all the time again obsessing so sorry if I get boring. this post is mega long, hehe!!

Oh ps. Are you guys going to the meet up in January? I see that Mr Bradley stole my idea without even commenting on it on here!! Haha, will be so good to meet you and everyone else, I think i'll feel less stressed about it then!!! xxxx

 

Ahemmmm?? I never stole any ideas. Well maybe from the applicants from last year, as even though I wasn't accepted I still went to their meet up in bristol! Lol. Butt sorry if I got there before you. You can help organise if you like? Still trying to figure out where/ when is best etc lol

 

Haha I was completely joking i promise! Glad you took on organisation, I'm crap at co-ordinating stuff like that!!! I think Birmingham is a good idea though, definitely most central and better for way up north people than london I expect. It's exciting, can't wait to meet you all properly! xxx

 

Oo a meeting in Brum eh? Well I am sure you want something much sooner but I myself will be in England and Birmingham specifically in April/May of next year and I could always make a guest appearence haha

 

Well maybe we can have another meet up then for those of us who haven't left yet...I'll be going mad with waiting by then anyway!! x

Was going to wait until after Xmas to look at flights but just randomly went on STA and found a BA direct flight from Gatwick for £364 on the 3rd Sept which seems ridiculously cheap. Maybe we should think about booking soon to get a good deal? Have you guys thought about it at all?
