Before you book, check out www.opodo.co.uk too. If you use Quidco (web cashback scheme), you'll save 2.2% on the STA price. Granted it's only a tenner, but that's a meal out or a few beers when you get there.

    Heya!!

I booked with STA travel it's a British Airways direct flight to orlando from Gatwick!!

Basically they can't book the return so at the moment I am booked to return in Febuary 2011 then nearer the time STA will change it to September the 2nd free of charge. As long as i use it by September the 6th it is valid to use whenever.

According to another thread you can, but they dock your wages per month for the ticket rather than reimburse you at the end of your 12 months. Sure someone will be able to confirm.

I know you can get Disney to book your flight, but what happens with the whole Disney paying for your return flight?

Do we then just buy a single, then they book a return for us...or do we book a return flight and then they just give us some money towards the flight at the end of the year? ???

Ok ppl, here's my information on ticketing:

Disney can send it to you (and it is highly recommended since you'll be arriving with the other ppl from your same country, same flights and sometimes seats next to each other, which is kind of cool) but it will be deducted from your already low wages, i dont know if monthly or weekly.
The other option (and is what I was told) that we purchase our own ticket once we have our visa in hand.

Both of these options are equally good but if your trying to save, booking a flight within days is HIGHly expensive and is what happens when you let Disney book it for you since they send your itinerary almost 4 days prior to your departure, so it is good to book it ahead of time.

I guess it all depends on what you want to do and how you want to do it :D

    Hope it helps.

From what I've heard if you let Disney buy your plane ticket, you can pay them upon arrival so if you don't want that money taken out from your paycheques you can get it outta the way at the start.

It only depends of your choice

Thanks guys for all your info!

I think I'm just going to buy a single ticket straight up with STA Travel, they deal with many CRP people and tell you who else is on the flight etc, and not deal with Disney with regards to flights. The wages will be low enough as it is, without having them deduct more money! LOL. Especially if they don't book till much later on, I'm hoping to book my flight on Mon or Tue.
    ;D ;D

It'll be MUCH cheaper to buy a return ticket.
Check out www.skyscanner.net fly.com or the charter airlines too (Monarch/Avro, Thomson and Thomas Cook).
