Ive heard me saying that so many times, my diet started 5 months of mondays ago, haha. getting fully into it now, hehe.

@Leom - I work at Durham Passport Office, pretty easy money

I would travel afterwards but my family are coming out so I'll be chilling at the villa. Contiki looks so much fun, I fancy doing one of the super long tours next year

Oh wow, what do you do there?

I want to do one next year, i think if i go back, which i hope i will, i will just save up a lot and go touring round america, i want to go to new york, los angeles, st louis and las vegas within the next 3 summers, and hopefully visit miami, washington DC and the new england states somewhere within there.

 

I totally had the same idea in mind, wanna see all those states and more at the end of my trip

I've found out ive lost half a stone thru stress...which is ace! lol! its a start...gym is starting this week, as I only have my dissertation, work placement, exam and uni show to deal with now =D lots less work that last week!
I've been saving too, but i have to live in the 'real world' when i get back..none of this going back to uni business for moi!!

I wanna do new york too! but i think im going to come back and see if i can plan a trip around that area of the USA, very exciting. never really travelled alone, so im PETRIFIED about the whole disney thing!

 

For those asking about requesting locations, it ain't gonna happen. BUT if you plan to come back next year, make friends with your managers, your friends' managers, ask questions, look interested.
And failing that, just sweet talk in the interview as long as you're in with another alumni and depending on the interviewer they might be able to 'note that down'
Both ways are always a long shot but definitely worth trying. Last year a friend worked at Toy Story Mania because the year before he had made friends with his managers (luckily he was at LMA so not too far removed area-wise) and stayed in touch with them and they nabbed him for TSM!

Another reason character is best... global. Ohh yes!

 

Aww Gina don't be scared! I mean, I'm the same to be honest. Like I find it easy to meet new people etc,but knowing we'll be that far from home is a scary thought, but as you can tell from on here and If you've met people that are going, you know how lovely they are! and everyones going to be in the same position and we're all Disney lovers(I hope!!!) so it's going to be so much fun! and because we'll be working it won't be like we have all this free time to feel lonely or whatever,as after work we'll all be meeting up/going out and about and stuff!( well I Hope so anyway!)

There's about 7 or 8 of us in the rear end
I'm trying to lose weight as Gina knows...not happened yet...I am saving £150 a month and my bursary comes through in june for £350 so that will help! lol
we're travelling (we being me and my boyf) over to LA/Anaheim with my mum for 6 nights, then over to washington DC for 4 nights, then miami for 2 nights, then back to orlando and home! YAY!
I'm so excited....wish we could change roles...I so don't want to do merchandise having worked at disney store and I want to request the villians shop area in hollywood studios, love the shops in that area, just hope i don't get a resort shop, or world of disney!
