2013 Canadian CRP Applications

I'm the exact opposite of you, Carey! I've never been to Disneyland but I've been to WDW every year (sometimes more) for around nineteen years. Never ever, ever been tired of going. It seriously is the Happiest Place on Earth! You'll love it! Every time I go down I feel like I'm coming home. Sounds cheesy, I know. :

They charged you for the call? Did you have to call Kristen for the interview? :-\

 

I know what you mean about the "coming home" feeling! last year was my 10th anniversary with WDW and the feeling never changes as for the emails we're waiting on, I reeeeeally hope we don't have to wait another entire week! I'm so impatient about this! fingers crossed for all of us!

 

No she called me, but since it was my cell phone and I don't have a long distance plan anymore I was charged for the call. It's not a big deal though, I was expecting it.

Carey: Hmm. I guess it was different for me because I was on a landline. I just always thought it was the person who called who gets charged. But whatever.

 

I think for both landlines and cell phones it all depends on who your provider is and what kind of a plan you are on. Some people have plans where if the long distance person calls you, they get charged for the call not you. Cell phones, you are charged for both coming and going calls unless it is covered in your plan.

I have one more final exam tomorrow, then I will be going nuts with all of you! Today is officially 3 weeks since my interview with Kristen.

 

So last weekend I took a last minute trip to WDW to see the xmas decorations and go to MVMCP ...I just couldn't pass up the cheap airfare...and boy did it ever make me want this process to go faster! Took a walk around the Canada Pavilion just hoping and wishing that it will be me standing there in plaid & hiking boots next year! The new Fantasyland is amazing but I did miss the soft opening for Test Track by a day...they started on Monday (I flew home that afternoon)...I just cant wait ...hopefully next year i'll be able to visit the parks as much as I want as a full fledged CM!

 

Ugh! I haven't been to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party yet. I want to try that and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! I just want dress up and run around getting candy like a little kid! ;D

Did you see the Osborne Lights at the Studios? Amazing! The fake snow even makes you feel like your at home...just a little.

It was so funny that I left real snow to go see fake snow LOL ...it was great! Ive been to MNSSHP twice now and LOVED it...I dressed as snow white last time and had a blast trick or treating. I totally preferred MNSSHP for that reason you get to dress up and there is candy (more to do really) but I love MVMCP way more for the fireworks! I think those ones are the best out of all of them... The only thing I have left to do at the world is Food & Wine...i'd love to do that...hopefully next year!

oh! and just booked my phone interview for Tuesday..so excited...cant wait to chat with Kristen she always super sweet and nice on the phone...

I'd want to dress up as Jessie from Toy Story for MNSSHP. I dunno why. I just do.
I did see Star Wars Weekends though. That was pretty awesome, especially when I bought my R2-D2 t-shirt. I still wear it like everyday! <--- is a Star Wars nerd

i literally had my phone interview maybe 10 minutes after i made my post. it was so short! but i guess kristin doesn't need to ask all the preliminary questions like she would if it were my first time going down.

ahh!! i'm so excited and nervous!

 

Have you done the CRP program before or were you there on the CP? Any tips for us newbies? ;D

I hope your phone interview went well. What did Kristen ask you? I'm guessing she asked why you want to go back, etc? Did she say anything about when we'd hear about the face to face interviews?

I applied for the ICP, so I don't really belong on this thread hahaha, just thought I'd say good luck!
We're also just hearing back for the final interviews, I'm going to the Montreal interview on january 31st! When are your final interviews going to be?

I received my email this morning as well.. and I have been invited to the final interviews!!

Laura, the dates for our interviews have not been set. Right now we just have to confirm which city we will be participating in. Sounds like Montreal interviews will be at the end of January(with ICP?), and Vancouver interviews will either be the last week of February or first week of March.

I will be attending the Vancouver interviews!!

I know that there are 4 interview days for the ICP... 28th, 29th, and 30th in Toronto, and the 31st in Montreal!
Depending on the amount of applicant going to each interview, they may just have us all come in at the same time!
