2013 Canadian CRP Applications

I think most, it not all of us, have had our phone interviews, nladams. We're just waiting for Kristen to say if we've got through to face to face. We've all got our fingers crossed! From what I've calculated I think the F2F should happen sometime in January or February. Hopefully its as soon as possible! I just want to get down there!

 

Yes, I had my phone interview last week, now I am just waiting to hear if I have made it through to the F2F interviews.
I think they will be sometime in February. If i'm lucky maybe they will land during my Reading Break from school. *fingers crossed* but I have to actually get through to the F2F first!

 

That's so exciting! I'll have my fingers crossed for you guys...when I last applied we did our F2F at the end of February that was in Toronto though...I hear this spring it will either be Montreal or Vancouver...

 

I think the Toronto interviews were just a few days ago, actually. Just missed them! I would have gone to them if I could have, but I'm hoping to go to Montreal for these F2F's.

 

The Toronto interviews were on the 12th. There was a lot of ppl that got opportunity listed so a few of us are going to try again with the Montreal interview

 

I had no idea you could do that, canuck23. I thought it was just one interview per application. Or are you guys applying all over again with the phone interview etc.?

 

That's what I thought too but when I was looking on the YJ website it let me apply again. The email said that the opport list ends February 1st so hopefully Ill get a date sometime around then, but if not atleast i have a backup plan. Plus going to montreal is always fun ;D

 

Had my phone interview last Friday, it was so nerve wracking! I just hope I came accross as excited about this opportunity as I really am through all the nerves. Hopefully I'll get through and get to meet you all at the Montreal interviews!

Looks like lots of people are hoping for Montreal. It's going to be a big party over there, and I hope we're all a part of it!

I'm going to be the lonely gal at the Vancouver interviews. If they by any chance don't have Vancouver interviews this year, then I'll see you all in Montreal (As long as I get through).

I thought MOST people who are opportunity listed end up getting dates, and if you didn't then you are automatically invited to the next F2F interviews. Therefore, I thought they discouraged applying again while you are still on the list. I would email Kristen about it, but Good Luck!

 

No worries, Carey! I can't imagine how many people have applied who aren't on this site! You got the whole of central, western and northern Canada probably heading to Vancouver. You definitely won't be lonely!

 

Yeah, i'm sure you're right.

Kristen told me during my phone interview that there are a few other applicants from Alberta/Sask too, so it's nice to know i'm not the only prairie girl applying.

It's been two weeks, and I'm still going crazy!

 

I'm personally trying not to think about it. I have finals this week, so I need to put 110% of my focus and energy towards studying.

 

So I emailed Kristen today asking about phone interviews...Im going on vacation to the next Thursday for a week so I wanted to make sure I didnt miss a call...she said that interviews would be happening late next week and she would have an opening for me next Tuesday so I dont miss them...YAY! So for anyone who hasnt had a phone interview yet looks like next week is the week!!

 

Thanks for the update, nladams. Ugghhh! I'm just so impatient!

I don't think we will hear anything for at least another week. Based on what nladams said and what I have seen on the facebook group, the last round of phone interviews are next week, so I think we might hear something back from Kristen the week after?

As for the Test Track - I have actually never been to Disney World before (embarassing) so I haven't been on the old version, but the new one looks cool! I look forward to doing everything at EPCOT and WDW! I'm actually most excited to do rides that they have in Cali as well and compare what I remember of Disneyland to Disney World.

 

I just got my phone bill, and noticed it was more than usual. Long distance charges for my 6 minute conversation with Kristen! I am suddenly thankful that the interview didn't last 15 minutes... though it is worth every penny!
