I am SO ANNOYED about that London one tomorrow. I had to move my date twice because of college and work. And now they go and put one in the perfect place and time for me and don't tell me about it.
Grrrrrr never mind at least I've done it now.

yeah costuming is awesome though it depends on where you get placed cos you could end up somewhere rubbish and then there arent any guests or magical moments to make you feel better!

i am so jealous that you guys are gonna know soon! i'm supposed to be doing uni work but thinking about disney is so much more interesting...

Disney is a very good way of procrastinating from uni work, hehe x

I think she meant that she loved doing day parade, but if you chanced to not like where you were then its not as if there is guest interaction etc to cheer you up like there would be if you didnt like your location if you are doing gust facing... vik?

I'm assuming no news is good news tho, for the moment! i'm sure if we were truly horrible, they would have let us know by now..... surely?

in the end it was what could help most with my acting/directing career. i felt character would help if i was going into physical theatre and panto, which is an option. attractions i felt i would learn more overall skills and it has great audience interaction without the massive costume lol.

it was a split second decision, but i felt with the attractions i could get more out of it. the volume of guest you would see also appealed. We talked about my height and he wasnt sure for me as im 5 foot 5 so he wasnt sure whether i would be the right height or not but he said he would look into it. nothing was mentioned of merchandise and the fact i had no experience in retail.

woooh long post. i hope it answered your question.

Costuming is really good..I did day parade and spectro magic in summer 2006 and loved it..

When I was there, they only gave out around 4 or 5 costuming roles to people from the UK as far as I remember..Might have changed now tho, as I think they take alot more people from the UK on the summer program nowadays..

I did my second program for a year 2007-2008 and got assigned outdoor foods and vacation planning..I did outdoor foods first..Second I did vacation planning..Some people might call me crazy, but I did vacation planning for just over a month and I just hated it..Im not saying its not for everyone, but it wasn't for me at all..I like to be active and moving around all the time..Therefore I transfered back to outdoor foods, which they were fine with..

Disney have cast service managers now, which are really helpful..They help you if your having any problems, in or out of work..They are always more than happy to help you if your having any problems over there..

I hated spectro at first..I asked them if I could just do day parade..

I came to realise spectro wasn't that bad tho, because I used to only do 4 nights, instead of doing 5 days, so it meant I did the same amount of hours, got paid more and had an extra day off!

This poor chinese girl did spectro tho, when I did it, and she used to get given 5 or 6 days a week..

Think I prefered day parade more, but I found that with spectro as well, I got more of a sleep in and I could go to the pool or somethin before I started work..

What roles exactly do they have for ICP summer
and do they explain it to me if I don't understand it?

Would be nice if anyone can put a list into here which roles they have, so I can prepare..

If you go to the actual Disney ICP website, they have a full list of all the roles and their descriptions. I think it is just a complete list of all the roles so there might be less on the list at the interviews, but at least it gives you an idea of the jobs they have!

    Hope this helps!
