I think i've decided on a leaving date. I think i'll take the Sunday 12th July flight with Virgin for £377 or something. Just gives me that whole extra day to get over the jet lag

I would go on the 13th but it means the family can't come to the airport to say goodbye, so it looks like the 12th.

Will Disney pick you up from your hotel instead of the airport if you arrive early?

Also STA travel are a legit company to book through aren't they? I've never heard of them before and don't want to get to the airport to find that i've been scammed out of a flight that doesn't exist ;D

 

haha yeah they are, i think they're just associated with student travelling etc a bit more. they even have a facebook application where you can do a countdown i believe

Actually costs £434 through STA. They're tax quotes were about £60 out by the time you actually book.

Flight VS15 with Virgin. Gatwick to Orlando. Depart 12.45 and arrive 16.55 US time

I've written down all the details and i'm going to call STA in a couple of days to make sure they've got it all legit on their systems

 

I'm not sure if I'm going to keep the car. I'm going to ask around and see how much it is needed and how much it will cost to switch everything over to Florida. But even if I don't keep it my mum wants to do a road trip. If we don't drive I will fly Southwest out of Buffalo, New York. It is the only airline we use to go to Florida and is the best! Though westjet is so much better than air canada

 

i received my package yesterday. and i will take the disney flight i think. hope it won´t be more expensive than an own one...
and i hope i will get everything for the visa right in time... i worry a little bit, coz it´s very short...

 

how long does the visa thing take in germany?

here in sa after you went for the appointment it takes about 3-5 days untill they deliver it to you.
sure you will have enough time to finish up everything. everything is starting to become real now!!!

hey terese, as you know already i start march 10th as well. did you already have anything in the package about the I797? i just read in any paper that i´ll get it later... it could be that it arrives just 2 weeks before dep. but do i have to call the embassy for a date now already? although i´m not having the I797 yet?
