You breaks all depend on the shift you doing..

I think it was 15 minutes for a 6 hour shift..And then 45 minutes for 6-8 hours..Then for 8-10 hours it was an hour..And then it pretty much went up 15 minutes every 2 hours if you get me..

I've worked a 14 hour shift before at disney..Its not bad at all, if you enjoy the job, then it seems like your not really even working if you get me? 10 hour shifts at MK actually used to be quite common..

Hey guys how r u all doing? I am so excited for all of us and i cannot wait to go........
I have a question.....What time do we start and finish in epcot? whats our day schedule? xxx

My friend who has worked there told me the earliest start is like 10:30am (Apart from when you do your training its earlier) then latest finish is like 11pm, sometimes 12, depending on how many people there is closing etc..

As you can expect though, its different when its magic hours..Think we'll have to work considerably later then...

To me it seems like they split the day. If you start at 10.30 and do 8 hour shift then you finish at 6.30 when someone will then take over till closing.

I must admit, with all the people there and all of us who are going (and it does seem ALOT) I'm surprised that they are not over staffed.

I'm glad we're just doing the chippy for a 2 or 3 months 1st as i'll need that to get me into the flow.I can see table service being the real body drainer.

That's good to hear about the money as I'm aiming to have £1000 changed to $ to take over. I want to be able to enjoy it as much as possible, not be worrying about money!

Yeah, I've gotta agree with you about the money..I'm off to tenerife with my mates thought, just before we go..So that's guna drain some of my money..

They definitely split the day up..But if people call in or are ill and need to go home etc..They will sometimes ask you to extend..

Maybe we could get a part time job at Universal too :D :D

Seriously, i think i'll be taking around £500 in $ with me (plus JP and Laura owe me about $90 between them) which i think will be enough till i start earning. Maybe a bit more because of the Universal Annual Pass which isn't cheap.

Wicked hours. I wasn't sure coz i really thought epcot closes at 9.30pm after illuminations. I know magic hours are longer. So u think £1000 will b good to take.........especially if it will be $2 to the £1 that would b wicked. xxx

expecting a boost to the rate? i don't know much about exchange rates, but currently it's just under $1.5 isn't it? if the pound could get stronger by then that'd be well ace!

It's around the 1.37-1.41 last i heard which isn't great. I remember when i went in January 07 and it was $2 to £1. I doubt the exchange rate will improve hugely in the near future

Basic Pass is $150 which gives you access for a year with some blackout dates

The ones to look at is the preferred Pass for $229 plus Tax. 365 day access, 10% off food/merchandise/tours/separate tickets

Top one is the Premier Pass at $289 plus Tax. Again it's 365 day access, one ticket to non peak halloween horror nights, 20% off merchandise and 15% off at restaurants. It also includes a load of perks like free parking if you have a car ect.

I guess if you don't have a car, then it's down to whether the Halloween Horror ticket, extra 10% off merchandise/ 5% off food is worth the $60 or not

I was saying to Lee earlier though..When I was there..I had the basic $150 one (Which was actually about $130 at the time) and they used to give me discount at all the food and beverage places and I got my Halloween horror nights ticket for $20..I just kind of always showed them it and they saw that I had a year pass, so just gave me the discount..

I guess I've kind of been thinking about it..And I'd only save like $30 for the halloween horror nights..Coz I'm sure you still get discount on tickets, even with the Power Pass..And then the only other perk is a few dollars here and there for the food..I'm more than likely guna check and see if you can upgrade..And if you can, I'll wait until Halloween horror nights, which will be september/october..And then If I have the bollocks to go again, then I'll more than likely upgrade the ticket!

I'm still thinking then, including tax, the second one up is like almost $90 more! So even then I wonder whether it would even be worth that..$150 though, is an absolute bargain, I must have went about 20 times at least to universal on my year over there..And I hope to go another 20 times this year! I absolutely love it..Although I'm not sure if universal is aloud to be mentioned on this forum! haha..

Also, about the block out dates for the basic pass..If I remember rightly, its just like christmas, new year, easter and the massive holidays, where it would be that rammed that you wouldn't wana go anyway!

Is the halloween horror night really scary, then? I thought people were joking! I can't wait!

originally, i was all for the top tier because of the Halloween Horror Night pass, but i think i'm going for the middle tier now. Food and merchandise savings between the 2 will be minimal and i'd rather have discount on a HHN pass which i can use whenever i want rather than a free pass that limits me to only thursdays

I really want to do all these shows/ themed nights.

With the 6% florida sales tax i've worked out the middle tier comes to £172 which is quite good. Didn't really want to pay more than £200 for it.

Doubt i'll get an annual pass for anywhere else. I'm sure someone will for Seasworld and i'll just use them to get me day discounts ;D

From what i've heard, you have to be at least 18 to enter because they fill the whole park with dry ice machines which stops you from seeing more than one foot in front of you only then to be chased by evil clowns and guys with rusty chainsaws

Its absolutely horrific..But in some ways it really good..Because the reason its scary is because its that realistic that they make you feel your actually in the set of the movie and pretty much make you think your guna die!!! hahaha..

As for the seaworld pass mate, its a weird one seaworld..Because you can get the fun pass..which is..

"Pay for a day, and come back all year to enjoy all the sights and splashes of SeaWorld Orlando with a 2009 SeaWorld Fun Card. Enjoy unlimited general admission through December 31, 2009 for only $74.95 for adults and $64.95 for children ages 3-9. How much fun can you have for the price of one day? Find out! Add Busch Gardens to your SeaWorld Fun Card and double your fun."

So I think for seaworld its not worth getting the year pass..As, like it says, you pay for the day and get till the end of the year..I'm not even really sure what the advantage would be of getting the year pass..As it says the fun pass is for all the events that they do! Probably just the food and beverage and merch discount again..

Bit of a bummer it runs from january-january and not from whenever you buy the ticket as that would have made a cheap annual pass
