Saving like mad...

US prices are literally half South African prices, so I'm grabbing a new laptop, new DSLR camera and tickets to WrestleMania (yeah, yeah, I know). That's a lot of outlay before I even get started with the CRP...

 

I'm still working and counting down the days! :

anyone had any word from disney about visa forms yet?
I spoke with yummy jobs a few weeks ago because they needed copies of my last visa and SSC, at the time they said disney had started petitioning for our arrival date, but nothing yet.... I think we should be getting stuff soon

 

Haven't heard anything yet either...I'm hoping we hear something about them soon!!! I'm so excited, it's coming up pretty fast

Hey Kate, are you registered for the marathon yet?????

 

I registered for the 1/2 in October because I figure I'll still be on podium and it's at 10pm so i should be able to have it off, work an AM, or switch...hopefully! I haven't registered for the full yet but will soon.

I actually decided to raise money for Give Kids the World Village with the runs! I'm super excited about it Been putting together fundraising ideas.

 

Oh my god it's going soooo quick!

 

I'm registered for the full in January. I'm hoping to do the half in october and another half in december in my lead up as it should work out around training.... but I'm going to be doing quite a few hopefully, not just the disney ones! (I've got a 5k I'm doing the saturday before we start work)

 

That's awesome!!! You'll have to teach me your amazing running ways, this'll be my first full and I'm kinda freaked out already! haha. When are you guys all arriving in Orlando again? They have some cool looking running clinics in the area, but that might be way too hard with our schedules. Did you run last time you were over?

 

It was one of my managers that got me into it out there! A load of us from the R&C did the race for the taste 10k (which is now the wine and dine half) and then the celebration hospital 10k after that and then because i enjoyed it, she supported me when I did the women run the world 15k (now princess half). I love the disney races!

 

That's SO cool!! You're amazing! Your post honestly just made me so stoked for the races! It would be really neat to do a WDW race and a DL race and get the cross-nation medal too! It'll be nice having someone who knows what's going on! Have you run a full marathon in the UK?

I cannot waiiiiiiiiiit. At first I was happy to have the entire summer at home..buuut now I'm just so anxious to get down there!!

 

The longest I've ever run is half marathon, I've done the princess half twice before I always said my first full would need to be a disney race because everytime I've run further, it's been at disney! I'm really looking forward to it too

on another note: visa applications are in! I wish I could remember exactly what I did last time because the websites are confuzzling me.... ???

 

2 months and 8 days woohoo!! btw is here anybody from norway? Cause the plane I catch is full with people from Norway.
