I have been wondering which park i am going to be put in and think that they may ask which was my fave park.
But as I have mentioned for a few times, I know NOTHING about where I work, where I stay . It seems that others know much more about all these.

I have NEVER been to Disney before. There will be 1 in Hong Kong in September. I know LITTle about each park.  I  don't know which park is the best for me to work[ I'll do F & B for 3 monthgs International College Programme]  . I don't wanna make the wrong choice.

Could you guys PLz tell me which 1 is the best?

That depends on what you like I guess! :) They're all great for different reasons. I loved MGM just because I'm in to animation & got a lil tour :) Animal Kingdom is beautiful, Magic Kingdom just rocks & Epcot...well we're gonna be there so that's just self explainitory :D

Do you know whether I can ONLY work in Chinese Pavilon if I choose to work Epcot?

I dont think you'll work at the Pavillion if you were to work at Epcot. Think you'll just be placed randomly.

My favourite park is Magic Kingdom, closely followed by MGM. I love the new firework display at Magic Kingdom - "Wishes". Have the CD so listen to it everywhere i go. People in my car think i'm crazy, but i love it!!

    Dear Sarah,
You've been to Disney for many times. YOu are expert in which park is the best. Of course. I 'll heed your advice. I know VERY LITTLE about the park. Would you mind telling me what MGM stands for? I'd better find more information about each park or else I will DEFINITELY get lost in those parks.haha. It would be kinda funny for a staff working in Disney to ask others [ tourists] for help.

I have no idea what it stands for, but its called the Disney Studios now!

I'm doing custodial, so i get to walk around the parks (hopefully!) and help guests with where things are.

Also, when my sister did the prog last year, they all had a little notebook which they had to carry in their pocket at all times. This included things like a park map, times of events and other frequent questions. So, you'll pick things up quickly. The best thing to do is to go to the parks as often as you can - i'll gladly go with you!! ;D

    Sarah :)

Disney is TOO Large. I'm worried about getting lost there.
It would sound RIDICULOUs for a staff to get lost

    Dear Sarah,
Oh. you sister did this programme last year. I bet she had a great time. haha. The purpose of having the little notebook is for me to help the tourisits. BUt I guess I will be the one who need help. haaha. Fingers crossed. Hope I will pick things up quickly. I'm also glad to go with you.Sarah. Hope we will meet there.

    Dear Sarah,
I'd like to ask you 1Q. My parents have been blaming me that I would not able to cover the costs of going to there to work. From your sister's experience, do you know if I can cover the costs?

    Costs:

    Round tickets about US$ 1,500 ( HK$ 1,2000) [ $US 1=HK$ 7.9]  [about $UK 1=HK$ 12.5]
    Food
    Accomodation
    Visa
Accessment fee [ Is it US $70]?

Did you sister also do F& B.
As I have said before, I have NO idea about the WHOLE thing. No one had told me anything about it until I heard it here.
On 1st April, the DIsney representatives came to HK but they didn't tell me where I work, where I live, etc.

My sister had no problem with money. I'm hoping to just live on what i get paid. after rent comes out of your wages, you're left with about $100 a week, so that's plenty for food, socialising and shopping :)

Thanks for telling me that. I had been worrying not being able to survive with the wage.
After hearing what you said, My worries alleviated.
