hey all, I was wondering whether Canadians ever get to work in guest relations at epcot. when i was there a couple of weeks ago i noticed that there were a couple of international people working there. how do you get to work in the position?? Lisa
Hi Lisa! You have to be fluent in a foreigne language and preferable worked at the park before. So I guess if u would be fluent in french you could just ask your recruitment agency ( or even better to ask someone at WDW), cause maybe they don't have enough applications from France. Languages they need: German, French, Japanese, Chinese and I think Portuegese or Spanish(maybe both). Chrissi
yeah I can't say I've ever seen a Canadian working there, but that dosn't mean they don't hire them. I have seen Brazilians, Japanese, and French people there. Maybe a German as well.
From what I've been told, speaking a foreign language uis not enough; you need to be representing a foreign culture, in order to meet the visa requirements. I was told as a UKer Guest Relations was completely impossible, regardless of what languages I speak.
