Hi! I have a number of Questions about my work. I don't know much about it. Is there anyone who can help me? I will work F & B. I wanna ask where I will be assinged to work. Can I choose where I work? I will work in restaurant or Fast Food Shop? Will I work with pp' from my country?
hey! yeah if your doin the Ip...u will be working in ur nations pavillion woth ppl form ur country only! f=b involves both an outside cart and indoor restaurant in some cases!
hey melissa! You'll be working in china right? China is my favourite pavillion in epcot, I love the food! I think you'll love it working there because everyone seems to have such a great time when i see them! You have in china a big restaurant where you might work serving food and right next door there is something which can best be described as a fast food restaurant. I don't think there's an outside food cart in china, or am I wrong?
Dear Emma, Thanks so much for telling me about where I will work. I had NO idea about my job till reading what you and Halifaxboy said. What? I will ONLY work with ppl from my country HOng kOng? NO. I wanna work with ppl' from other countries!!!!. God. Can I voice out my opinion?
i don't think you can change the working thing now!! But atleast you'll be living with people from other countries.
Thanks for telling me about it. Actually, NO ONE had told me about where I work. That means I have NO chance to meet ppl' from other countries except those living with me in the same room.
there's such a massive social life that you'll meet loads of people from all over the world! people you live with have friends, who have more friends so you'll end up meeting loads of people!
Thanks so much for telling me about it. I'm glad that you love Chinese Pivillion and the food. I guess I don't have to work in kitchen right? There is ANOTHER post for WORKING in Kitchening ONLY? Talking about Chinese food, I guess I will miss Chinese food after going to Florida.
I'm not sure about there being a different post for kitchens because I think all the different countries do things differently. but you'll just have to wait and see I suppose! I'm in F+B in the uk but I'm not sure what I'll be doing there to start with! might have to work in the fish and chips place!
im also in the uk pavilion working in f&b, i know ill egt put in the fish and chip van, itll be just my uck, but then agian id pick up litter if it meant i could work there! i dont mind working from ppl in the uk because its only shift work so we can mingle with everyone else when we get back to the commons as halifaxboy said, and every night when we go out and get a little tipsy! (yeh right a little!!) its still guna be a great experience and melissa just think you get to meet all the ppl who come and eat in the china pavillion which is cool! you'll have loadsa fun whatever you do im sure!
Melissa arent u on the college programme though??? I thought if u were on the college programme yuo could be workin anywhere??? I thought if u were on the IP u just worked in Epcot in ur pavillion or am i wrong? Im doing merch on the college programme and was under the impression us lot could be working anywhere?? xXx

I'm on the International College Programme not the Cultural College Programme. I will go to Florida to work for 3 months. I know NOTHING about my work. I dont' know where I'm gonna work. I hope I will get the information of it AS SOONS AS POSSIBLE.
Hey, If we are on the College Programme for three months, we dont know where we will be working until the day we arrive!! Therefore we could be put at any of the parks, water parks or resorts. So you will get to mingle lots with people from other countries. I dont mind where i am placed, but i just want to know !!!!! Sarah xx ;D

I've been told that they ask you what your favourite park/place is and then they try and accommodate that for you. But i dont know if you always get your first choice.
Thanks for telling me that. I'd better find more information about the 4 major parks in Disney before going there. Or else I don't know where is the best choice. Have you got any suggestions about where is the best place to be? What's your choice?
I get there on the 6th too, working in custodial. Sounds like it should be fun, even though it doesn't sound so glamorous!! ;D I'm from Manchester in England. See you in eight weeks!
