who phoned before they phoned?

Hey Congrats to all of you!!

I was just wondering though if ne of you phoned to know if you got the job b4 disney phoned you. I was thinking about doing it but i dont want to if no one has done that b4..thanks!!!

 

If you went to the Canadian interviews 3 weeks ago DON"T PHONE YET! They pretty much said not to call before the close of business on Monday, and from the sounds of it they haven't started calling anyone whos going this fall yet. Even though we're going to work for Disney I think we work for Cast-A-Way as well and this is a sure fire way to start off on the wrong foot.

ahh i hate waiting like this i know that they have a lot of people to phone i just thought maybe i would save them the trouble of phoning me by me just phoning them lol, ohwell, i guess i can wait 4 more days..

 

yeah I mean it sounds good and all to save them the trouble, but it could actually cause more trouble on their end, because suddnely they have to dig through the piles to locate your information (or find it on their computer) cross you off the lists and do whatever else they do... They have a system and it's best for us to just leave that to them.

I totally didnt no about this site when I was waiting... so I E-mail them twice and called 3 times...ahh I know im soo bad ..But ever time they just told me that they didnt know yet.. So I would say to wait becuase they really dont know anything ...But I still got the job and leaving in 32 days!!! so nothings really going to kill your chances!!

oh really you phoned and emailed?, ah , then it wont affect whether they picked me or not. I am sure they know who they are taking by now ... i would hope because they did say that we would be contacted by the end of the month...which is only a few days away, though i am SO anxious to know, i'm losing sleep over all this!!

Just out of curiousity though Carissa....what did you say when you phoned? .. like hey i had my interview for the CRP and i was just wondering if i was accepted?

hehehe, looking back i wish i would have had this site to calm me down so i didnt call... but i did call, and come on there NOT going to say NOto someone becuase they called thats just dumb to think!!! hmmm yah when i called they just said that they still didnt no anything...and that was like hmm 2 weeks before i was suppose to hear, and then i called one more time and left a message and they called back and i missed the call (this time it was really close to when they were going to call) and THEY left a message saying "no news yet and just to wait a little longer"... ahh it sounds so bad now, but i was ready to jump off a cliff at that time and i would not of done it any other way!!! and the day they said they would call they did....AND i MISSED the call becuse i was out of town...and was not able to call her back for a couple dayss....soo really everyone DONT stress i did EVERYTHING that EVERYONE is stressing about...and i am OFF TO ORLANDO IN 32DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I emailed to check if they were still phoning people on Wednesday, and said that I just hadn't received a phone call yet. Nicola called me like 20min later and was quite confused cause she had it written down that she had already phoned me and that I had accepted the job... weird huh? I was freaking out that I wasn't gonna get a job, and yet she had it written down I had accepted. Oh well... I got F&B, not my first choice... but I think it was my fault for saying I help my roommates with cooking, cause none of them know what they are doing.

Looking forward to meeting everyone on May 14th...

Katie you're going on May 14th too?!? Thats awesome!! Do you know where you're flying out of?? I'm going down that day too and i'm flying with one possibly two other people that are also going on the 14th!! Cant wait to meet ya!
