Is it pricey then sara? I am defo not gonna b able to afford it then! lol. If they'll rent to under 21 then i would just get a car for a weekend at the beach or sumt like that!
if everyone chips in for the cost if a group of us went then it would be kool!

I'm planning to buy a car, a norwegian friend bought a '95 Mustang for $2,800USD, so its kinda cheap.

AAA- The biggest thing with AAA is if you break down and need to get towed you call them and they will send a tow truck any where in the USA. They do the same for flat tires and when you run out of gas and other things like that. Along with all that you can use them to get discounts on things like theme park tickets. I'm going to get some tickets to Six Flags tomorrow from them, the normal cost is like $50 and I get them for $25 thu AAA.

As for insurance I don’t know what it cost down in Florida, but I am paying $2,200 a year to drive a SUV at the age of 19 in Massachusetts. You could always hope there like New Hampshire, you don’t need insurance in that lovely state :)

Cars are wonderful things, but can be big hassles if you have problems...and the cheaper the car, the more problems you are bound to have...especially with the heat! Public transit in Orlando is TERRIBLE, so a car is a big convenience, but might not always be worth the price. There are better things to spend your money on. You have to have insurance to have the car on property anywhere (which can be big bucks, especially for guys)...even if you are renting you have to get the rental plan...but some credit cards will cover that for you if you rent the car on it like mine did, so you may want to check out the features on your credit cards. Many rental agencies will rent to over 21's only and charge a surcharge if you are under 25 which can really add up. There are some that will rent to you if you are under 21 and a disney employee. Talk to other cm's when you get there. They will tell you who to rent from. It was Thrifty when I got there, then they were bad and Avis was good. Enterprise sometimes has good deals too. As for the license thing, if you are only renting you can still have your home license. Technically, after three months, you are supposed to get a FLA license (and it actually says it on the Commons temp car permit form), but I never changed mine. If you buy a car, your car license plate and drivers license have to match, so you'll have to change your license.

I think that covers it all.
