I have heard a lot about the commons but not so much about the other two.
Is it more likely that i'll be in the commons?

I think you should not worry so much about it..
...it's important, of course, but it depends on what you mean by "best"...
..you're gonna have great time there anyway...
    that's for sure!

I know I don't mind in which one I'll be living

I've seen pictures and they all look really cool, but do they all have a swimming pool and tennis court ans stuff?

with how many roomies are u usually? and what's the maximum?
I was also wondering what they all do in there free time and are u getting a lot of free time or are u always busy taking classes doing laundry or grocery shoppin?

what are the classes like? do u need books and stuff?

and do u all eat together or separate? where will u have lunch during work and do u have to pay for that?

waahh I have so many questions :p

Seeing as how I JUST got back from vacation and was talking to alot of my fellow Canadians that are participating right now in the program I THINK I can answer a few of these.......

You can have UP TO 8 people in 1 apartment........you will ALWAYS have 2 people in ONE bedroom regardless......HOWEVER they do have a SMALL AMOUNT of apartments that only have 1 room so that means 2 of you in ONE apartment!!

Classes......you only have to pay for BOOKS which can range from $20-$100 or so dollars. Really depends on WHAT courses your taking and IF you want to take courses. Most people would rather go work, then go to the parks on thier time off.......shop...WHATEVER!!

As for eating at work........the server I was talking to was telling me to SAVE MONEY.....she BROWN BAGS it everyday!! So much cheaper. You DO get a discount on F&B but it all adds up in the end!!! You already have to pay rent out of your cheques so for me......it would be BETTER to BROWN BAG it as well!!

Think of a college dorm....everyone living together but ALL doing thier own thing!! Some people will take advantage of the gym and pool and some will NOT!! Some will visit the parks on days off.......some will SHOP!!!

I truly hope that these helped ya alittle!!! Anyone else want to back me on them? ???

Do u know if there is a place or a mall nearby where I can buy clothes from Old navy, the GAP and abercombie and fitch?? cause I love those brands and we dont have that over here in Holland.

And would it be possible to work longer for Disney? because my program ends the 1st of September but my Visa allows me to stay 30 days longer.

Do they really care about High Lights in ur hair as they told me during the interview, because I have High lights but u dont see them really good it looks just natural. would they allow that? or do they want me to change color when i'm there?

Do people have party's in there apartments or do u have to be quet at a certain time?

As u can see LOTSA questions and I have so many more :p

If you do a search you will find topic about MOST EVERYThiNG your asking!!

You will have to find SOMEONE with a car to find those other stores!! The bus only takes you to WAL~MART!! SORRY!!

The hair.....I had a problem with as well!! I have bright red hair with BLONDE HIGHLIGHTS and I had to get rid of the highlights!! NO JOKE!! They want it to look NaTuRAL......what did they say during the interview?? If they said Anything at the interview then you would change it but if NOT.....NO WORRIES!!

You can OnlY stay in the States until your VISA is through!! I am there from Dec.5th through Nov.30th of next year and I am ONLY allowed to be there till the 30th and then I would be in big trouble!!!

Party's in the rooms?? well, guess you would totally have to worry about your ROOM MATES.....remember that your ALL there for work and someone MIGHT not be a party person so you will have to wait to see. There is a party going on ALL tHe TIME and as LONG as your old enough...........
bars and clubs right at your doorstep......

Again.........if we can help drop the line!! ;D

waaahh thanks I'm getting more and more excited every day.

    Cant wait anymore :p:p:D:D

oohh one more question. I'm doing the international college program, but do we also graduate or something? or do we get a certificate to bring home? because sometimes I see pictures of a Disney graduation where they are wearing a cap with mickeymouse ears (really cute). if not do we get anything else for participating?

ICPs get (or, at least, last year got) a certificate and graduation Mickey ears!

(I actually lost my ears on the flight home , but the amazingly magical people in the International Program office very kindly Fed Ex'd me a replacement :D)

Well Andy that's what happens when you wear your mickey ears on the flight home! ::) ;D ;)

On the IP we used to get gowns too and a full graduation ceremony. Ours was the last of the old style grads I believe. :(

wow that looks impressive.. cost cutting in recent years is probably responsible for the ending of the elaborate grads

Well you would think... but the new grads run over a few days and, as far as I can figure, must cost a heck of a lot more than the old ones! :-\ Last I heard, they were at Mickey's Retreat and involved a kind of "outdoor party" with food, characters, characaturists etc. They merged the IP and CP grads togther (I guess to avoid having another type of grad for ICPs! ;D).

Anyone who graduated from the IP more recently wanna share?

    Wow. That looks fun.

I'm thinking of trying to wear my ears for my uni graduation...not sure they'd be too keen mind :(
