http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/di...yworld/index?name=CelebrationsWDWOverviewPage As 2005 was the Happiest Celebration and in recent years Disney have been granting dreams now the question is in 2009 what will you be celebrating?
that is awesome...exactly the thing i would want to do for my boyfriends parents....disney must have known lol.!
There promotional campaign for 2009 is that you can get into the parks for free on your birthday. Kind of sucks though... who goes to Disney World for one day? You buy a pass for the fortnight haha! If you're from the UK anyway...
I'd like to celebrate perhaps a year of no celebrations??? Come on Disney, you can do better than the one you're proposing!
Ye, i was a bit shocked to hear that, but i will be celebrating my birthday at WDW next, MK to be precise. lmao.
But won't you be possibly working there?? So you'll get in free anyway...and as Ben said, if you're from the UK you'll have paid for tickets anyway.
yes but still i will be celebrating my birthday there, did it not say on ITM that they were giving out $75 or something like that.
Dunno...haven't listened to the podcast...but if you're working there, you won't be able to claim any prizes...just like I couldn't in the YoMD because you work for the company. Neither can your family. And if you get caught doing so, you'll be fired.
If....i get out there next summer, i will be celebrating my 21st Birthday....and graduating university. thats a lot to celebrate.....hehe silly disney
according to A Secret group of Disney's magical theme park Cast Members & Guests facebook group WDW News Today reporting the following on tomorrows announcement: -Disney has dropped the proposed Magical Celebrations name and will simply be using two primary phrases (â€What will you celebrate?†& “Celebrate Everydayâ€) to promote this new 2009-only celebration. -Guests who attend WDW on the day of their birthdays will be offered a special gift throughout 2009: the choice of a free birthday 1-day park ticket, $75.00 merchandise gift card, or 4 fastpasses per person per party of up to 6 guests. -Although already previewed on the official Disney pin trading website, Disney will be introducing some new personalized pins that will feature magnetic name badges that can be removed and interchanged. -As far as entertainment offerings, the Magic Kingdom will be adding a Stitch Dance Party in Tomorrowland, repackaging the Disney Dreams Come True Parade yet again, and introducing a once-daily Magic Kingdom Street Party on Main Street U.S.A.
Will i be able to get the pin on my birthday or am i not allowed to do any of the disney stuff if i am an employee?
Yeah you can get pins...you just can't claim any prizes they might give away. You're not allowed to wear them on your costume though.
