I have applied for CRP and been rejected, there were people who were better suited.

So i wanted to be better suited, for when i apply again, therefore what experience/jobs did you have before becoming a CR?

    Thanks :)

I would recommend that you get a job in the hospitality/tourism industry. See about working at a hotel or a local resort if there is one. Get your foot in the door and see how you like it, while gaining the experience needed to apply for Disney again :)

How many times can you say what? Travel agent? I could think of a few times where I've been known to say travel agent. I've never known an actual travel agent though. My sister worked for a travel agent once...

Hi, my friends take the mick out of me cos I've had so many jobs haha! I've worked as a waitress in pizza hut, a till lady in a supermarket, a server/waitress/all-job sorta person in a cafe, an assistant in a high street store (Woolies! RIP!), in a clothes warehouse, as a street fundraiser for a charity and now in a call centre. Apart from the charity and the call centre, they were all part time jobs I did whilst studying.

I'd say decide which kinda role you want, and try to get some experience in that kinda roll! But don't worry too much, just be enthusiastic and show how excited you are about gaining the experience WITH Disney :) Also big up the things you've done outside of your working life. Stuff like clubs you were members of, your hobbies etc. are all just as important as work experience :)

Good luck for next time!!! x x x

    Hmmm my job history...

    Paper round.
Garden Centre as a sales assistant.
Private Hospital as a Catering Assistant.
Virgin Atlantic on a week's work experience in year 11 in the Flying Club department (very brief experience but it always gets mentioned!)
Uni Refectory as a till girl/stocker/skivvy LOL
    WDW as F&B/Attractions hostess
Catering Agency working at races, weddings, funerals, conferences etc
Gatwick Airport as a Customer Service Agent..last day tomorrow!

    And I'm only 23!

Anyway, people get to work for Disney when they're 18....you don't have to have had a proper job, just the enthusiam they're looking for. However, a job that involves people is definitely a plus.
