hey, i came out on the 9th september, bought 2 suitcases full of clothes and stuff from home but didnt bring anybedding cause you can go to walmart when you get here, just meet up with the rest of your arrival group and share a taxi!!
bring fancy dress stuff with u if you have it, uk pavillion do alot of themed nights and they can get expensive!!!
dont bring any excess bagage with u cause we are 2 mins walk from the premium outlets where you can by more clothes and publix (grocery shop) is about a 10 min walk so you will have the essentials with you!
i wish i could have bought my sewing machine over, or something productive that you could do in your downtime cause i dont really feel that my brain is being used alot!!

I have 4 suitcases....a girls needs her shoes lol
I also am bringing all my own bedding and stuff.
Take anything that makes you feel at home. But there is a lot of great shopping!

  5. When I went over the summer I only took one suitcase with me so that i could take two back. You won't really need that many clothes as you will be in a costume a lot of the week. There are also washing facilities in your appartment (if you are in the Commons) and near your appartment if you are in one of the others. The main thing I would take was personal effects from home. Photo's and stuff.

Think Belive me u dont need many shoes! i leave all my shoes at home at that was sad, but i bring like 4 pairs, and i only have used one! cuz u will be in work most of the time, and got sooo tired that u only need a comfort shoes to everything, i brought one pairs of heels and i only use them to traditios, because when i try to wear them my feet hurts so much form work that i use my flats xD u will have no time to use the shoes, with one pair of sneakers, and 2 o 3 more of ur favorites u will be ok, we split a taxi woith my arrivals, a Karaoke one hahaha was fun, 2dlls per person to walmart, we tought is a fair, cuz the taxis charge us 13 at the back, an we were 4.... if u want i can give the number for kojak! u will love it! ;)

  7. Yes definetly don't take that many shoes. I would prioritise with some that are comfortable along with a pair of trainers as believe me you will wear them even if you don't normally when you are at home. If you need some more dressy shoes then there are plenty of places where you can go and buy some. Save your suitcase space for other more necessary things. Also you will probably find that when people go out then they don't really wear really dressy clothing so I just brought stuff that could be dressed up so I could wear them during the day as well.

  16. There are the premium outlets which have some shops in but if you are in Vista then they really aren't that close to you.

Most of the girls here have skechers, the work non-slip version. I don't like them and find a nice pair in Macy's for $69, which is quite expensive but i've never worn such a comfortable work shoe before in my life and they're non-slip too. (You do still slip in the kitchen in your non-slip shoes, it's really that slippy!)

After worrying about what to bring I didn't actually bring out that much and have already bought so much! It's so cheap out here and there's enough stores within walking distance to pick up anything you need.
