Does anyone know about the college programme- i finish my contract on the 26august- do i have to give back my disney id straight away or can i use it for a week or so to get in free to the rides?????? Stupid question i know but im going travelling for a month after with my mates who are coming over to see me so i wos just wondering! Cheers Shane
You definitely have to give it back when your contract ends. You may get free tickets while working for them though! Those are usually valid for 2 years. Not sure how it works with the CP though. Julia

I kinda wish i'd thought about traveling before i booked my return flight but its worked out ok, cause i get back into glasgow early on the 27th and then fly out 2 magaluf 4 2 wks with my friends!! You had your visa appointment yet? Mines was y'day in Belfast - was over in like an hour - expected much more!! Jo x
i only booked a single flight- my visa application. . . .aggghhhh i hate them! i went to london- over 4hrs wait too- visa got delayed so i missed a piss up weekend in norway with the lads because of it!!!
No problem, many people did that just because they wanted to keep it as a souvenir. You have to pay like 25 bucks for it, but that would work out I guess. I know of people who went after 6 months and could still use their ID so you might just give it a try! Julia

I wouldn't recommend trying to use it after you've left. I know that with the United States College Program, your ID expires the day you leave. I did learn one thing about that, though. Last summer, when I came home after working seasonally, my dad, brother and I went to the Disney Store at home the same day I got home (and my ID said "Expires 6/19/2004"). I was still able to use my ID at the Disney Store for a day!
Hmmm ok, thought it was the same as for the IP. But if you just planned to use it for the parks in Florida you will also find other people to sign you in the parks and get you the discounts. That would be without risking anything and everyone would be willing to help ya! Julia
