I won't miss my family too much (I've lived away from home before and my mum is planning to come down to Florida 4-5 times over the year. Which is more than she ever visited me when I was away for university) but I will miss my kitty! The longest I've ever been away from him since I got him was my 6 day trip to Walt Disney World this fall.

ALSO! Rumour has it that there are no Ketchup Chips in the states...

My roomie ended up living in Texas for a few years and has agreed to make me a list of "Canadian things you will have cravings for and no access to in the states".

My mum promised to learn to use skype, just so that I can see my kitty every so often.

Ketchup chips for sure! Whenever someone went home for a visit we use to ask for things to be brought back...it mainly seemed to be ketchup or all dressed chips, Alexander Keith's or Timmies (which never seemed to come..).

I'm going to miss my new niece! She was just born April 7th and I'll miss her whole first year :(

From what I've heard about buses in Florida, I'll probably be missing the public transport here ;D

Aw! It's too bad she's so so young. My plan is to just force all the people I am going to miss to come and visit me...

Last time I went to WDW I smuggled like... 1kg of cheese curds in my bag and made poutine for my American friend for breakfast. And then made her have nanaimo bars for dessert.

P.S I won't miss Harper either. And I was going to say I won't miss the piles and piles of attack ads... but they do those down south too, eh?

When I was down for Christmas it was my first one away from family. I worked christmas eve, christmas night, boxing day and new years eve! However christmas morning I went to a friends who had bought a huge amount of those packing form peanut things (i hope you know what I mean) so it was like 'snow' in the apartment and made a big breakfast for everyone! It was so nice and kind of majorly saved christmas :)

There were some people who got the days off either on purpose or just by scheduling and got to fly home for the holiday!

Christimas is just going to be different....We use to celebrate it with family...we will celebratied it with friends from around the world and we will have the chance to see how the other culture celebrate it...

For curled cheese...I taught we can't pass cheese through the US borders...

And for the car... My car is going to be SO useful...I can't see myself without a car for a year so I'll bring mine...Ride to the wal-mart is going to be much more easier

I guess I'm lucky (maybe?) that I'm used to working over Christmas. Or having my family work over Christmas. It's just another day of the year.

*cough* As long as you don't tell them exactly. I took it on my carry on bag, and when they asked if I had anything I said "snacks for the trip, is that ok?" and the lady said it was. (I look really young and scared and lost... So people are usually nice to me)

My little brother and I were making poutine today. He's letting me live with him from when my lease is up until I leave for Disney. That's gonna be something I miss!

First would be my Family and Friends. Then it will be food cravings like Ketchup Chips, Smarties, non caffeinated pop, my favorite restaurants, Timmies and The Rockie Mountains.
