Hey, just wondering whether anyone could tell me anything about the wellness apartments, from what i've gathered they're for ppl under 21, but are they in the commons and how many ppl usually live there and what's it like? Thanks Pippa
The wellness apartments are in every complex..They are for people under 21, but they can also have people over 21 in them if there is no room for them in the over 21 apartments.. There's no alcohol whatsoever allowed in them and if alcohol is found in the apartment, the person who's alcohol it is will be terminated or if nobody admits who's it is, the whole flat gets terminated..
Yup any apartment in any complex becomes a wellness apartment as soon as someone under the age of 21 is moved into it. They are as mentioned essentially a dry apartment.
does anybody know if you can move out of a wellness apt when u turn 21 there? or are u basically "stuck" there the whole time?
Yeah, you can request to move once your 21..Its just like you requesting to move if you don't really like who your living with, they'll accomodate you when people or leave or move you straight away if there's already a spare room..
I was considering asking to go into a wellness apartment even though I'm 22, so I can get away from the constant partying. I think I'm gonna definitely need sleep and I dunno if I can get it in the non-wellness apartments. How big is the difference between the areas of wellness and apartments and area of non-wellness apartments?
i kind of want to be in a wellness too because like you i like my sleep! i want to be able to go to the parties whenever i want, but not have them actually happening all the time in my flat, haha!
I was in a non wellness last time and never encounted a real party (there might have been a few people over that I didn't know once in a blue moon). The best way to go about it (I believe) is to wait and see what your roomates are like, then if you're having issues request to move to a wellness and try your luck there.
Just because you're in a wellness apartment doesn't mean you don't have parties I like my sleep, and I had to be at work for 7am one day and two of my roomates brought a load of friends round at 3am and made one hell of a noise...I called security on them, not that they could do much unless the could hear them as they drove past (and we were on the top floor : ) but luckily someone opened the door as they drove past and they got chucked out. But then we all made loads of noise...I remember one night all four of us were in for the night, and we decided to go to Walmart and buy our Christmas decorations, then came back and stuck songs on whilist decorating at 2am...but the flats next to and below us loved us so they didn't mind hehe! Some days you'll get noise, some days you won't.
