hi im 19 and have had my phone interview, i have heard u guys talking about the wellness apartment for under aged people. can you guys fill me in abit with them, such as what they are? where they are? and what there like? if you could do so i would very much like it, oh and i take it they are just for people under 21 arent they?
Yep, wellness apartments are prodomenatly for under 21s, although 21+ can live in one if they wish. In a wellness apartment alcohol is banned, even if it is a sealed bottle and security see it, then most likely the whole apartment will be termed. Wellness apartments can be anywhere in the complexes, the apartment across from you could be a non-wellness, infact you can even be in a block and you are the only wellness!
hey you ! I have never heard before of these wellness appartments... if you are underage, do you have to live in such an appartment or can you choose ???
I'm under 21so i lived in a wellness apartment its exactly the same and i was surrounded by non wellness apartments, i barely spent any time at mine went to all the parties at the others and no it doesnt stop u drinkin!
I know we're not allowed in PI anymore but I'm assuming that we still manage to go somewhere! So see when we do, do underagers have to be sober or do you get drunk beforehand or what? Not that I would ever do anything that would break the law Is it totally a big deal out there or is it kind of just like going out underage here?! x
you'll still be able to go party i'm not sure how it works now PI has changed but you pretty much cant drink in public at all(only found one place that served) theyre really hot on IDing ppl unlike here but lets face it youre living with hundreds of other young ppl - theres a lotta parties! and apparently pi is dead now because over 21 cm's dont go either coz their friends cant!(theres quite a lot of under 21's on the program)
Yeah..when i was there we just used to get pissed before we went..We always used to go to jungle jims on a monday (which has apparently shut down) and then club paris in downtown orlando on a friday i think it was..It was pretty cool..Coz there was a group of about 20 of us who were all english who used to go out all the time..So that was pretty good.. We used to go to PI alot on a thursday tho for the castmembers night because it used to be a well good night because everyone used to be out n that..But now apparently they've stopped cm's under 21 going so i doubt it would be that good anymore.. But you've basically just gotta be careful..you can drink, but just remember you get sent home if you get caught.. We lasted 10 days without drinking..we thought we'd have to go all summer..but we just realised you have just gotta be careful..and realise that its a law and your not going to get out of it if someone catches you..
Ooh god, thats made me feel a bit better then. I mean I don't have to drink but I'm choosing between Disney and a summer in Ibiza! So there's gonna be a bit of a difference between the two!
If i get the disney job..ill be going to ibiza..come back..3 weeks later its my 21st birthday..then the week after that ill be going to disney! Guna be an awesome summer if i get this disney job.. But yeah..i wasn't 21 like i say..and to be honest..i probably drank as much at disney as i do at uni..which is quite alot..i think it just worked out well that one of my best mates was 21..and we would usually go halfs on drinks n stuff n get pissed before we'd go out if we were home..So it was just the same really..but he had to buy everytime! There was actually some cp's i know that weren't 21 and cheekily got served in walgreens..the supermarket near vista..its the risk of gettin caught tho..there's a difference between havin a few sly beers in your apartment and trying to get served in a supermarket or nightclub.. Don't worry though..you can get pissed as much as you want, if you've got someone 21 to buy it..but you've just gotta be careful.. Also..just thought i'd say..You've gotta be careful if your going to have a sly drink in your flat..because you never know what your housemates are going to be like about it..On the first week we were in disney, there was an english lad who got all his flatmates terminated because they had beer in the fridge and he didn't wana get terminated as well..so he grassed them up..he was abit of a goon, but its just what you've gotta be careful of really..
i gotta admit if i was under 21 and in a wellness appt and people were drinking underage i would tell them to take it elsewhere and if they didnt i would report them- will be the same when i get out there if anyone in my appt is taking drugs i will do the same thing. Sorry but i wouldnt want to risk getting terminated because of someone else and theres no guarantee that if your appt did get caught with alcohol/drugs that anyone woould own up to it. if ur gonna do stuff thats illegal do it outside or away from ya appt esp if its gonna effect the other people who live
Yeah..definetly..i agree.. My flatmates were cool tho..they were from england as well and they used to party as much as i did..so i knew they'd be cool with it..i still asked them first though..They used to drink most of the time if i did anyway.. It was only on one occasion i did anyway..and that was on my birthday..but you've still gotta respect your flatmates and that.. I wouldn't really advise drinking in a wellness apartment though..as its one in a million that all your housemates are going to be cool with it..i was just lucky enough to get put with two cool english guys that understood we were all out there to have a good time and that as well as work and enjoy the disney magic so to speak...
My opinion is that if sum1 is takin the piss drinkin in the appartment all the time. I wud have 2 say something to them and if they didnt take notice, I would have to take it further. Bcas theres noway im goin to be sent back, i've spent alot money to get over there and I want to live in the US, and if u get terminated theres noway u can get back in easily. I'm quite a "hardfaced" person, had a fake ID ect but u've gota respect the "dont drink in a wellness apartment" thng. I most prob will drink wen im there, but im gona see "whats what" first. 81 days!!
Yeah..thats what i did..it was 10 days before i first had a drink..and then even then i was quite worried at first..but once you've drank a few times..you just realise that you've gotta be careful and like take a sip and then put it down..things like that..coz if security walk in..then you can say your mate put it down when he went to the toilet..something like that..its if they actually catch you holding it sort of thing.. Im not advertising drinking in america in anyway..but im just saying if you do want to..its possible, but just be careful and realise that if you get caught..your on a plane straight back to england!
yep thats the only thing be careful because it IS illegal and its not like england - you WILL get arrested and you will lose ure visa and get termed- i never drank in a wellness apt only in other apts and a couple of times in a bar that served - but with over 21 friends - my roomate had wine in our apt once and the others went ape sht and to be honest i dont blame them yes i drank but i knew if there was alcohol in apt the lot of us were gone!
LOL I thought u were gonna say u would report them if u knew they were drinking full stop! LOL Nah i agree. I get wasted all the time when out there, and will again when i go back, but i never did it in my appartment incase caught and the others were termed, however the securty at tree houses are so crap they would never notice.
