Hi everyone! I am from Cape Town, South Africa and I am arriving to work in the Animal Kingodom on 23rd March. 6 weeks to go!!!!! Anyway, I wanted to ask whether our benefits include a season pass to both Disney's water parks or if we have to buy this. It seems that an annual pass for both parks is around $100 for florida residents. Does anyone who is there already know if we have to buy this or if we get a further discount as cast members? love love love waterparks to have been wondering this for some time. You don't get into the waterparks for free. We do get half off after 2pm or something like that, but if you plan on going a lot, it's better to just get the pass. I only managed to get to the waterparks once while I was there.
thanks for the info, I plan on spending loads of time in the water parks so I guess the pass is my best option.
One of my goals for my year in Disney is to go down Summet Plummet... probably the scariest water slide I've ever seen. Its at Blizzard Beach for those of you who aren't familiar and is a very steep slides in which the rider reaches speeds of about 60 miles per hour!!! I've always wanted to give it a try but haven't been able to muster up enough courage. I think I need someone to push me down the slide haha.
Aaaaaah you're braver than I Jackie!! Usually I'm pretty gutsy, but when I see that slide I run in the opposite direction Got to the top of it once, looked down, then chickened out. Not one of my proudest moments... but at least I walked away wedgie-free! Even just thinking about it gives me the heebie jeebies!
I'll take that challenge Jackie - thats not to say I am looking forward to it. Going to be VERY scared but I will do it if you do!!!! See you there!
