Who has been wait listed? What does this mean? Is it a polite way of saying "NO!" How many people that are on the wait list actually get phone calls? Do being placed on the wait list mean a person didn't do a good enough job??? I need answers!!!!!
dont worry, its just a way to say we like you but we have to wait until a possition is available for you, sometimes theres people that have problems and have to leave the program or cant do it anymore and in that case you take their place sometimes you get the whole year and sometimes a few months but mostly its the whole year so dont worry.
alot of the people that were placed on the waitlist for the feb to sept 2009 placment have now been accepted. so it doent mean they are saying NO to you
The waiting list is not a bad place to be, yea it's not as good as getting the job straight away, but there's still a pretty good chance. I got wait listed in November last year, and about 2 weeks later I got the call saying I was in, so just cross your fingers and hope for the best my friend!! ;D
Well, facebook (handy thing that it is) tells me that someone from the waitlist got a call today. Here's hoping for the rest of us!
Hi, this is Genie from Hong Kong. I am waitlisted too The post I applied for is competitive. They only hire 8 people for attraction this year for the China attraction. A friend who just came back from CRP told me they have cut resources due to current financial crisis. That means they only hire very few people this year. I only want to work in attraction I wonder if they would offer me another post if they call me back...
hey im todd, ive been waitlisted too...along with a few others from the UK so fingers crossed they ring me saying im on it...as ppl do drop out and shizz! but it would be nicer to have a definate yes or no lol! but hey at least i HAVE a position, i just dnt know when they will want me! hahaha x

yeah it seems that way as they said in the email "disney would be delighted to offer you a position" so...but its more waiting time than u guys who seem to be either getting a no or a yes!
if its only been 9 days for these results i wonder how long it will be to find out if we have been accepted or not? maybe after easter??? also i wonder if they have sent out all emails for rejections and wailistings.
Dude i think thats what everyone is thinking, lol!! Are there more rejections to come?! Usually they send out all rejections then the acceptance, but i dunno
Lots of unknowns ??? ! Personally I recon people will find out further results from Tuesday (due to Easter Monday). On the rejections and waitlists again an unknown, there may be more to come. On the issue of waitlists, as stated earlier in the thread and in other threads, the waitlist is there for people to take the position of people who leave early and so need replacing e.g. homesickness, family emergency etc. or if people don't take up the position they're offered (perish the thought!) or other such unforseen circumstances. Therefore a position may come up randomly as events happen and if you're on the waiting list a job at WDW is in no way guaranteed, and you may have to go through the interview process again later this year if a position does not crop up (but hopefully not ) I'm still waiting on my result so it looks like it will be an anxious weekend. :-\
I'm on the wait list to, just a matter of sitting back letting fate brings whatever it should. If its meant to be it'll happen.

but how much time do somebody have to wait, because some friends didnt have their invitations for f2f and the´re on the wait list
