Hi guys, I know this has been asked before, but I wanted to make sure I get an up to date answer ;D I was wondering how much a UK f&b gets paid per hour? I'm trying to work out student loan repayments...... nightmare!!!!!!
roger did tell us in the interview...but i'm guessing everyone was like me and was too busy thinking about getting in and than worrying about wages. gosh darn my lack of brain space!
Haha yeah- same!!! I got a letter from the loan sharkz today. You won't have to worry until April 2010, and even then I don't think its !OMGZ! worry hehe!! I'm gonna ring up the loan people on the weekend (I'm working 9-5, what a way to earn a living- eh?!) and grill them about running away to America.
I think i wrote it down! well..only part of it..and i don't understand my scribblings, bear with..:S $7.25 ph for merch, attrac $7.25ph FB non-tipped $3.65 ph tipped $6.75 ph - ICP thats all i got.

Someone did say on another thread that they had had a pay rise to $8.06. I'm not sure if that was base rate or QS F&B. Helen, I'm trying to work that out too..how do I know how much I'll be earning??? LOL
QS F&B (the chippy, and podium) is $7.75ph.... They get 50 cents extra because they're non tipped. And those extra 50 cents go a long way!
I was told this too but in my acceptance letter, which I received about a week ago as I changed roles to F&B, it still says I will be paid $7.75 p/hour?!
Hmmmmm maybe that's what you start at and then get a rise when they next get one??? I'm not sure LOL!
Well I rounded it to $8/hour when I did a rough estimate last night, and that still comes to under £12k which is the cut-off for paying student loans back if you live/work in the States Its £15k here (UK) They base it all on living costs apparently....
