How long before the departure do i have to book the visa int.?... a month to go now and no disney pack....
its normally around about now, well in your case as you leave in a month. I would suggest you contact the company you applied through I think your from Italy are you not? just contact them and ask them would you should do, then you can be at peace of mind x
well, i've contacted Megan Durand, international services..she told me that my visa paperwork is ready but she's waitin for the offer letter...she also told me that i can get ahed and book the interview but not before the 23/29 january...now i'm a little bit more relaxed..
That's good! I've talked to some Norwegians that are going to the embassy tomorrow that haven't received their package yet. When they contacted the recruiters they said they hadn't done it yet because they'd been on vacation :-\ But Megan is really nice, so I'm sure everything will work out.
I'm from Canada and am definately going to apply but just wondering is having a working visa for the U.S. a requirement to get hired? If not, what should I check in the box on the application for where it asks "Can you submit verification of your legal right to work in the United States?" Thanks
No, you apply for the visa after you get the job. When you've accepted the job Disney will apply for you, you just need to go to an interview on the embassy to get it. Just ask about what to check on it on the interview.
Canadians don't have to go to the embassy. Unless you are American you don't check the box. They'll tell you that at the interview though? Just curious, where are you seeing that? In Canada, after you're hired you pay a SEVIS fee (35$) online. You'll get your DS2019 form in the mail and you just take that with you through customs and fill out an I-94 card. (That's for the summer program...I don't know about Cultural rep.
