Visa??

Hi everyone!
Im chris from uk and im meant to be travelling out on the 20th June, but have just had my visa appointment today. Was just wondering how long it took for everyone else to get theirs back?!?

I had mine last week and got it back yesterday but that was the second time they tried to deliver it (apparently :). So I think mine took 2 days to process and one to deliver. Interview on the Tuesday, tried to deliver it on the Friday. So I think you should have it in time.

Oh that was from London, Belfast is even quicker apparently.

I don't mean to be negative but you have left it quite late, It took a week for my visa to come. It may differ depending on busy times ect so if it comes within a couple/few days, Your very lucky

 

Yeah I guess it is rather hard to tell, esp. at this time of year.

I found the courier company a bit of a nightmare myself. They said they called when I wasn't home however,they didn't leave me calling card or send me text like they said they would. Instead, they took the package back and then sent (through the post :) a letter to tell me they'd missed me. I never got the letter till the sat night so I couldn't rearrange till monday. And you can't go pick it up from their depot. : Fabulous system for delivering important, urgent documents. :

Ona: how long after the appointment did they claim to have attempted the first delivery? Just wondering the stage at which to start phoning and pestering

 

D'you know, they don't even state the date they tried to deliver on the letter. : That's whats making me think it's all a big conspiracy and they didn't try at all. ;D Lol! ;D The letter was dated the 9th however, so I assume it was either the 8th of the 9th.

So that's interview on the Tuesday, delivery attempt on the Thursday or Friday, as far as I can work out. : ;D

Oh and they didn't ask for any kind of ID. It's all about security. Clearly. :

Weird, Ona. Will give them a call next Monday if delivery hasn;'t been attempted then.
