anyone going in feb to orlando. got there letter yet for there visas. let me know if u have. i need to book my holidays with work soon so i can go to london to sort it out. sarah xx
i've got some details through but its a bit complex because its in somebody elses name who didn't complete the program and i've got to get it all swapped over or something. i know i need to make an embassy appointment but i dunno if i have to do it through yummy or ring up the embassy. its so confusing!
i imagine it went something like this: jess: "dad i need a visa" poppajess: "what?! i've already got a mastercard that you know the pin number for" jess: "but dad i mean a real visa!" poppajess: "so you spend all my money, but now the mastercard just isn't a visa huh?" jess: "oh dad, you just don't understand" (jess' trademark quote) *crowd laughter* hmmm. i reeeeeeeeeally need to get out more.
LOL, actually i must confess, im quite nervous about my visa appointment. what if i get declined? that would suck BIGTIME!! anyone who would like to form a circle of comforting please join me!
he was just screaming at me because i just don't understand what to do! (TM) he was saying that i just need to ring the embassy and book an appointment and go get it done! But i think i need to sort it through yummy somehow? plus yummy will know this whole situation with it being partly sorted in this other girls name. I have a letter and stuff that i need to show the embassy to explain the situation, but what if i get down there and they can't help me and just send me away? plus i've been reading on yummy somewhere about paying $131 for applying? because it's already part applied for do i need to pay that? or is that for something else? I JUST DON'T GET ANYTHING.
Easy there Jess... Chill with the still Winston, you go a whole 2 weeks after me. We need a referance number which is issued by Disney, sent to Yummy who then email it to us. Once you have that reference number you can phone the embassy to make the appointment for the interview. So until you have that reference number, you can't do shiz. Tell your pops to mellow out & stop twisting your melon man!
hi jess, not sure about your situation. but i can shed some light on how the process works (at least in SA) but i think its the same everywhere? 1) you need to obtain a pin number so you can make an appointment with the embassy (dunno if you guys must do this. they tell you everything on the us embassy website specific to each country) 2)once you have your appointment, you need to pay $131 for your visa.you must show the receipt at your appointment 3)in SA we must also pay $85 reciprocity fee, because we are gonna work in USA (once again, dunno bout you guys) 4)if your visa gets approved at the appointment they will send it to you in a couple of days. must pay X amount for courier. also specific photos must be taken for your form and you need to fill in a form on their website which you must take with you to your appointment. i really dont know if you guys got this info as we in sa did on our acceptance letters. but here is the website disney gave to me to sort out my visa. if i were you i would go check it out. http://usembassy.state.gov hope this helps!
i though disney paid the $131 for the visa. n we only pay for the passport to sent back to u after the stamp was put in ur passport. sarah xx
