Visa approved!!!

Yay!!!!

Had my Visa interview today and after a very long and very cold day my Visa was approved!!!

Just have to wait a few days for it to be delivered back to me then i can phone Disney to confirm the flight details and then this will def all seem very real!!!

That was a super quick reply!!!!

I met two of the girls from my arrival group. One of thems in food and bev with us and is flying from london too and the other is in merch and flying from manchester!!! Both were lovely!!!

Due to the ridiculous amounts of queuing involved, the riduculous number of people there and the fact we had to turn our mobiles off inside I never got to see Matt!!! Hope you got your Visa okay matt!!!

Also - i think the visa is only 13 months now as the form disney sent me had it set to expire at end of april and jason had told one of the girsl we have a month to travel at the end of our contract. Guess Ill be able to see for sure when i get the visa back in a few days!

what is the visa process like? What do they ask you?

Hi Sally,
I havent done the Disney visa one yet.
But when i did my J1 visa in 03 - u book an apt on premium telephone, then u have to take apt sheet, passport, old passport, burth certificate, visa sponser form, fee receipt and a few other things - depending on visa type.
You wait outside till they let u in - u have to show apt sheet to the guards.

Then u go in queue up - hand over your stuff - they give u a number...
U then wait whilst numbers are called randomly...
U then go up and i was asked why are you going to america? they then tell u its been issued...

It may be a bit different now - as i know u no longer have to supply recorded delivery envelopes they have their own service... so im sure theres been other changes, im sure Michelle/Matt will explain further!

I got my visa! Only problem is now i've got a stupid cold! :-[ I had to wait 2 hours in the freezing cold! At one point I couldnt even feel my feet! The process is still the same! Waited an hour to hand in documents then had to wait 2 hours for a few quick questions and finger prints! All together there was just over 600 people and i was 532! lol!

 

Sounds like you need a lemsip no' 532?!!!
